Hi peeps, I have searched for "boosters" in the outdoor Grow posts. It came up with 2 search results. I read one who used "Advanced Nutrients", checked out the web site & after considering $ & aviliability I am not a happy chappy. So, If I could ask some people for some brand names of suitable for outdoors otherwise I will use my COGr- Flores. I have been using 'dynamic Lifter Liquid Concentate' & a tea soppn of 'osmocote' (not nuch I know, but I am cautious and tbh don't have a clue. ever had a green thumb outdoors Thanks !

Hey guys.. Well, im a bit behind schedule.. Okay, I got a fair few q’s, so here I go.. Whats the best potting mix/soil ? well, not the best, but something good, can you guys name some ? prices… ? What sort of nutrients do you give outdoor plants ? If I grew my plants to 30cm tall under lights, on 18/6, then chucked them outdoors, the light cycle would be completely different.. and they wouldd prolly start to flower right ? what light cycle should I start my plants under, so they will continue to veg once I put them outdoors ? Cheers all, By the way, has anyone even grown marleys collie before ? let us know.. ta

Hi I will be starting my first indoor hydro grow soon. I have 2 20L buckets set up, draining to a resevour, in a cupboard. On one bucket I have a drip system set up and the other I have misters set up in the bucket. I just won’t to experiment and see how both methods go. The question that I have is what would be the best seeds for me to get as this is my first grow? I have been looking at www.planetskunk.com and I only want get cheap seeds (from Nirvana) for now, in case I go wrong some how. I am mainly after a medium sized plant and I wouldn’t mind a decent yield, but quality is more important than quantity! I am interested in anyone’s thoughts about how you think the …

hi im curious on thoughts re flushing your medium? (grodan in this case - but could relate to any medium) do u believe it is necessary to flush the medium regularly? (eg forthnightly?) with plain water to remove salt build up? i've been told that "If you have to flush your plants because of salt build up it means there is somthing wrong with with your system or your watering cycles" so assuming that you are watering correctly, with sufficient run off etc. does that make flushing uneccessary (except for the end prior to harvest)?

Hi is there a guide to what size carbon filter is needed for what room.. Im planning a new grow with 2x 600w HPS lights in a room. I got the lighting, just need a fan and carbon filter now. I was thinking about doing it in a cupboard, or two seperate walk in robes, but its easier just converting a whole room and then getting a replacement door for in/out air.

http://www.rexresearch.com/hhusb/hh2cul.htm#HH27 interesting read under section 2.7 - diseases and pests Cannabis' resistance to diseases and pests can be strengthened by the judicious use of methyl salicylate, which is a major component of wintergreen oil. Aspirin (acetyl salicylic acid) also is effective. Dissolve two tablets in a quart of water and apply the solution as a foliar spray. anyone do this or ever heard of it??? btw - 1 quart = @ 950 ml

hi, confused first time grower here in sydney i've got 3 plants growing on my balcony, they must be about 10 weeks old from seed. i just noticed that the tops of the plants look different, and was wondering if they've actually started flowering already, even though there's still more daylight than night. lower down the plants there are none of these growths, just very small 'hairs'/leaves at the intersections where branches leave the main stem i'd appreciate it if you could check out the pic and tell me - are they flowering already?? cheers sausage

Hey guys, this is my first thread on here and its gonna be about my little darlings ofcourse, i got 4 little tykes in a potplant, all seem to be going rather well and they are only about 4 weeks old, 2-3 inches tall. My major problem i have, i was givin a plant yesturday from a friend i do not know how old the plant is, and he hasnt been lookd after. He is an outdoor plant thats just been left and waterd every so often. His main stem has been snapped of, but he has grown another kinda branch of the side of the main stem. This branch is about 7 inches long, the first 4 inches are just the long stem/branch and then the top 3 inches are full of leaves. because he is top hea…

I can’t count the number of ridiculous stories that I have heard from people (usually at a party or pub after a few beers), or read on grow forums about this mysterious grower-friend and their even more mysterious growing methods. Common tall tales include the dude that has 50 (or more!) eight foot tall Christmas trees in his basement (anyone with 50+ plants would keep their mouth shut). Or the bloke who hangs his plants or buds upside down so that "the resins would 'drain' into the buds"….. (resins don't 'drain', period). Or their friend who sprays their buds with (pick one)… water, assorted fruit juices, semen, dissolved contraceptive pills, piss from an ovulating gi…

MODERN TIMES it has recently become apparent to me that some growers are unaware of the benefits of frames and the people that do , even people that consider themselves to be major growers most are still not aware of aluminum tubbing. Its cheap and so are solid plastic fittings to suit. it always is a shame to see so much effort and money that goes into some setups all to have it spoilt by a dodge bit of wood banged together absorbing mold and who knows what other dieses. also the strengh and weight of wood are a pain in he ass. :thumbdown I would like to hear others views on this. jailbreakin........................... :yingyang
