General Cultivation Q&A

Hey guys, Well, I have an EC meter but I'm not quite sure how to use it. Calibrated it like the guy said and wouldn't you know, it seems to me that my plants don't take in any nutes. I threw in about 1/4 strength for the guys in flower and 1/8 for the mothers and veggers, however to this day the EC reading has only increased, and it's been about two months. I have to add more RO water every day just to keep the meter from jumping .10ms and I shoot for a reading of 1.0ms for the flowering guys and .5ms for the veg. Before this (I guess I was over nuting) I was changing the water every two weeks and using nutes at twice the strength since I couldn't see that the plant…

I cut my bud nutes too far back, in response to curling leaves. The leaves didn't uncurl so I assumed the nutes were still too high. 5 weeks into flowering and I have tiny buds. I've had an experienced grower come and see my plants and diagnosed them as being under fed. I only have 3 weeks left till harvest; does anyone know if I can prolong my flowering time by leaving the lights on? If so, for how long? I'd like ot buy some extra time to bulk them up again. om

i want to grow my plants outdoors in the bush can some1 please tell me what i need to use to protect my plants from animals, insects, etc. and how tall should i make my fence? any1 know of any good fertilizers and nutrients? miricle-gro any good? anything else i need to know or any advice would be good. im a first timer and any ideas on locations around melbourne to put my plants would be good, i want a spot that will be safe for me and my 2 plants but havent found a good place yet thanks

Ive never orded seed over the net before, is it safe and does it acully get to my door or does customes confiscate it as soon as it enters the country??????? Info any one??

I have purchased some of the above it sais to use 2ml per 10 ltr . Ihave read some where that this couild be to much .Ihave just got my clones under the big banger .My questions are: How much Should I use? Do you reccomend foliar feeding ? Can one over do it and do harm to plants?

ok i checked thru this forum pretty well hope this hasnt all ready been posted, because i know how gay that shit is anyway when do you guys first begin to fertilize??? i usually wait until about the 4th set of leaves to come through is that about right or can i do it a little bit earlyer maybe???. also im pretty sure i saw this thread 2 BUT..... what specific fert do you use at the start?
