General Cultivation Q&A

hey guys i just bought a 250 wat hps and i need something to stick it in....any suggestions? would could handle it without overheating? thanks -stone on

Why is there some plants that have a few yellow leafs and the rest green? whats going on there? Just thinking

I fucked up my first grow. When I put the plants into flower I didn't bother checking for males because I was using Feminised seeds and didn't think I'd get any males. The males have released there Pollen and it is all over the floor in my grow room. It's been about 2 months now, will it be dead now?. Or do I need to spray with bleach or something?.

Its been 2 weeks since they germinated and they've only grown probably 5 cm's tall... and its quite weird seeing other pro's in their forth day they're like 10+ cms tall... I've only been watering just normal water, should I be using nutes? The leaves are turning yellow... ill take some pictures soon and post them... i need serious help starting myself off... how far should the hydro lights be from the plants?(roughly) and how much light should they see? 18/6?

ive heard that the stuff left over in your bong water and the black stuff in the stem is hash OR is sort of like hash. is any of this true or close to the truth??? if it is not true then is there anything you can do with the stuff left over in the bong and in stem besides throwing it out? will it get you stoned at all? thanks

can using a oxydator be detrimental to beneficials living in the root zone and res tank, have searched and searched, no one has even heard of it, for those that havent, its a little gadget that sits in ya res with h2o2 in it, and converts it through a little catalyst in the oxydator through the pourous pot on base of the gadget.supposed to put out pure oxygen and water, no h202 comes in contact with the roots system,,can someone please shed some light.

Just wondering if anyone knows of where i can buy a good set of relatively cheap electronic scales, one that uses gram incriments to around 2ounces would be nice. Would prefer to get links to stores selling in Australia, thanks.

So...I know little about the hydro growing thing, I've not as yet experimented with anything past sun-growing some plants I had in hydro stones, ages ago. Can anyone tell me if this particular system looks to be good? I don't want too much an obvious drain on the power...I mean, I don't mind waiting a little longer for the plants to reach maturity, but essentially I'd be looking for nice chunky yeild. I know it looks pretty, but the specs mean nothing to me. Any growth stuff youd suggest I use in conjunction? …
