fixtures for hps

hey guys i just bought a 250 wat hps and i need something to stick it in....any suggestions? would could handle it without overheating?

Something to stick it in as in a box to grow in?? or do you mean you need the light fixtures for it??

 

You wouldnt need a very big space for a 250w HPS, theres a good light / space calculator RIGHT HERE that will work out the optimal space for you

 

If its the light fixtures ya after, im sure you could pick some up at any hydro store, or eBay may even have some?

dodgy style a bake tin " heavy duty" not the disposals.

 

Cheep ajusta wing second hand cashies $40 or new $80 these come with the needed mogal (ceramic) if there is a choice worth 30 to $50.

 

Im guessing here that globe is same size as 400/600/1000wt mogals.

Sneak420 - I brought a 400w HPS off e-bay, when it arrived I found that the shade that came with it would'nt fit in my cupboard. I went to the local recycle centre, there I found a red metal 70"s style lamp shade, it cost me $2. I drilled holes in it then made clips for the top of it , from coathanger wire. Also brought a heavy clamp which I taped on it to balance - fits perfect in the cupboard. And I used large keyrings to connect the chains to the clips. Good Luck
