Inducing early flowering?

What happens if you induce early flowering?? Problem is my cupboard is not tall enough, plants are only 6 weeks old, but very bushy, if I cut their light down should I do it gradually or just take it down to 10hrs???

Has anyone tried doing this?

are these grown from seeds and have you sexed them... no point in growing males.. unless youre after some pollin...

 

but really you can flower at any time indoors... 6 weeks should be more than enough time to get them sizable enough to flower.. keeping in mind they will grow another 2/3rds the size at the very least by the time they have finished...

just flower on a 12/12 cycle... that where peak resin production is at.. no need to drop down to 10.... gradually reducing hours is pretty much pointless.. if your in soil just give them a light flush with clean water..to rid the veg nutes out.. switch straight to 12/12 and straight onto full strenght nutrients... if your in hydro.. then give them a good flush.. and do the same...

Thanks for the response SukonmiSkunk- this is my first indoor grow - 400w HPS, grew from seed in dirt.

I'll have to read the section on cloning, praying for girls. I know how to grow outdoors, but this new to me. Thanks for reminding me that they will still grow more during flowering?
