looking at putting couple auto pots in spare shower. Would the fan in ceiling, open window and oscaliting fan be enuf for a 400w hps??? (might panda the 2 sides of shower other 2 are white tiles, and leave the door lil open for tha fan while lights on) hit me up some advice, ta.

So id love to hear from experienced growers regarding weather or not i should cram my 4 x 4 space (using a 400w) with several plants, or maybe just grow 6-8 plants inside. Which method should yield the most? I crammed about 20 in this grow but many buds didnt fill out as thick as i would have liked, still waiting while drying to discover the total amount. What should it be for Veg and Flowering ? I am using Dutchfest at the moment in Bloom and the label says it should be 2.0-2.5 EC ,, but I am only getting a reading of 1.8 EC . This is at full strength .

hey guys cant find any molasses in amongst shops in me local area so i was hoping some1 here knows a good supplier.. and even better can tell me the best and easiet way to use it... i want to use it as a carbohydrate and add threw out flowering will the application of this fuck with the groove of me mixed nutes? do i mix in and water with nutes? or do i apply seperately?? all help is appreciated guys stuff like carbo load from advanced nutes are simply mollasses i believe id like to find a cheaper alternative to carboload thanks guys bil

Im using a SUNON HYDROPONIC FAN 120MM and am wondering if a 250mm duct joiner will be suitable for my box.i will be using a 250mm ducting and 250mm odorsok carbon filter.Is this fan the right one i should use?And how do i connect the duct joiner to the side of my growbox?Pics of the fan and duct joiner below.

I want to make a grow fridge or closet and i was thinking i might just use 6 48w natuaral white fluoro`s,an intake fan and exhaust fan.Have a look at the quick pic i drew to give you a better idea what i mean.I would just use one 400w hps light but im worried about the electicity bill being to high and also the elec company relizing that im growing pot because of the hours i have them on for.Im not trying to grow ounces and ounces,just for personal use.I have a small fridge that i have cleaned out and was going to use that but i think it might be to small.It is about 4ft high and 2ft wide.If its to small i might go with making a box up that a little bigger.Any advice will…

Hi everyone. I've been reading these forums for about four years and am only now trying an indoor grow. I've tried to grow outdoor in the backyard before, but the plants have either been stolen or a housemate freaked out and told me to ditch them. I'm in a good place now, with few visitors and a cool housemate. I germinated some seeds about three weeks ago in a glass of water, then planted them in some 6' pots of cheap potting mix. They sprouted within 7 days, but since i'm living in Melbourne the weather's been cold and plants grew slow. Hey guys, been lurking around the forums for a while now and I've decided I really want to grow. The problem is, I live at uni in a studio apartment, and if i wanted to grow It would have to be very stealthy. I would only be growing for myself, so I'm not too fussed on large yields. My studio is virtually a large bedroom with a bathroom. Any idea's for an affordable, size efficient grow setup would be appreciated! I was wondering about strains too, what should I look at growing? Just wondering if anyone has got nutes from the the US before. Looking to try other nutes than the standard stuff I've used before here like Canna, Ozi and DM. Would like to experiment with Foxfarms and Botanicare lines. I used to use earth juice until import restrictions banned the organic grow and bloom formulas, wondering if the same applies to the other brands? Nothing on the TGA/customs sites about this either.. Anyone?

I'm starting an indoor outdoor grown, well suited to the tropics with 11-13 hrs day light all year round. Have some afghans vegged and ready to go out soon. The thing is they will go into the ground in a patch and thats where the medium will stay also. So what are some of the options and consequences of different soil/medium combos. Gotta say fast veg is priority along with improving the patch. Can i have my cake and eat it too?

G'day stoners! Just a quick question. If you use coco as a growing medium, do you need to buy specific coco nutes to use in it? Because I already have some Canna Substra nutes (the ones sold at Bunnings), and I'd like to use them if I can, rather than spending heaps on new nutes. Or would I be better off just spending the money and getting the coco ones? Cheers for any advice. Peace!

Hey everyone, I've finally gotten around to planning my personal grow. I live in a small flat, so I'm thinking of building a grow box that's pretty unintrusive and can be hidden in a corner or under a desk easily. The dimensions I'm thinking of are 700mm high x 600mm wide x 800mm deep. DWC had always looked the most attractive as far as hydro goes, seems pretty straight forward and means I won't need to deal with soil. But yesterday I spotted these autopot things which look more suited to my problem. No pumps and it looks easy to setup.
