Getting nutes from US?

Just wondering if anyone has got nutes from the the US before. Looking to try other nutes than the standard stuff I've used before here like Canna, Ozi and DM.

 

Would like to experiment with Foxfarms and Botanicare lines.

 

I used to use earth juice until import restrictions banned the organic grow and bloom formulas, wondering if the same applies to the other brands? Nothing on the TGA/customs sites about this either..

Yes. Customs will probably look at it, and if they do and it's not a registered product or if it's got organics, they'll probably sieze it.

 

Try contacting ozi-magic, I think they'll be doing some of the foxfarm lines. And worth calling General Hydroponics too, they've got some organic based lines here too.

 

It's hard being down under, but without them clever customs and AQUIS guys and gals, we'd all be bitching about a hundred other pathogens and weeds that no-one else has to deal with.

 

Check out the advanced nutrients range too. They've got a few lines just about to be manufactured here, (eta sometime in the next couple of months AFAIK) of their more complex products, but their sensi a+B is a good nute.

Oh yeah, and freight on a 10L set of nutrients from o/s is going to be a doozy unless you want to wait 6-8 weeks, and even then you'll pay a fortune in shipping. Honestly, you're better off checking out some of the other locals....

i would just stick to a good one and just ride with it i use canna and to be honest if it aint broke then dont fix it

 

although if you are looking for a completely organic set of nutes canna has a good range

Same here, used Canna (regular chem hydro, 'Substra') for the last 7 or so years. It's never-have-to-think-about-it reliable.

 

GH's 3-part system looks interesting and is more configurable to the stage of growth, but is not as simple to use as Canna's 2-part, with a shot of PK-13-14 (or PK TopUp) in wk3. Canna is fairly noob-proof yet still provides great results for journeyman growers.
