Howdy I sure you all have heard the usual many reasons for people wanting to grow .. for me mostly I want to be able to control what I'm consuming. So i have made the decision, and away we go.... ...but i'm overwhelmed with choices .. pls help me get started (or at least narrow down my research) I have some skills with plumbing, lighting and water maintenance (I've had planted fish tanks as a hobby) and hence will be going the "grow room" hydroponics approach. Hi there. Im having trouble working this one out. I have 3 of 4 plants that seem to o be showing signs of of nutrient problem. All indoor. I am running LED's with 110 litre pots with about 80L of medium, have mixed my own soil ( perlite, premium soil, muchroom compost, castings, rock mineral, some cow manure) i noticed that they had PH problem about a fortnight ago. i forgot to add dolomite lime when i mixed the soil. added about 3/4 cup worth of Dolomite lime and 1/4 cup of hydrted lime to them to correct. they seemed to respond well to this and got some vigour back in them. 5-7 days later i gave each a compost tea. 2 days after that i gave them ( dynamic …

Hi everyone. Who else here owns a digital USB microscope? I just bought this one from Jaycar. It's OK, but the software which comes with it sucks: keeps causing my computer to hang and becomes unresponsive, and uses a lot of CPU. The instructions are not too bad, but I'm trying to figure out how the magnification can be increased or decreased across the range from 10x to 300x (which is what the sales materials and box specify). It seems like you increase magnification by turning the dial on the side, and then you focus by moving the microscope closer to or further away from the object that you are imagine. Is this correct? Hi i have a root problem . Seems like i have a fungas in my root system. I'v flushed them and tried to keep ph around 5.8 and ec levels about 1.0 / 1.3 . Hey so a mate and i want to get into indoor growing so we can save money and get rid of having to go to dealers and get weed we have no idea how it was grown but we are new to hydro and just dont want to stuff up the plants or...worse...someone finding out that shouldn't So we were thinking of using a 4x4 or 5x5 with a 450-480wLight plus fans and stuff 1 .are people afraid of getting caught ? and 2 .Is it sus to the power company to have a grow room running for most of the year.?. i would think not but obvisouly i dont want to get caught Hopefully this isnt too odd and i get some replies looking for any help thank you

So I got hold of some Blue Cheese Autos from expert seeds. Tried to germ the first 4 in Jiffy pots and after 8 days nothing popped. I checked them out and all 4 were doing f all. I squeezed some run off out of the jiffy's and the pH come in at 4.3, I thought that's not real good and could be the problem so I put another 4 into a paper towel with water ph'd to 6 and 3 days later no sign of f all. I read a couple of reviews on the interwebs and there seems to be others out there who reckon all the experts seeds they tried to germ were duds. So just wondering if anyone on here has run any of their strains with any success? I'm thinking I'll throw all that I have in …

Hi guys/gals, I’m a bit of a rookie when it comes to hydroponics. I’ve recently invested in a 19L bubbleponics setup. My first go of it I didn’t run a top feed and running the water close to the bottom of the basket seemed to keep my plants roots way to moist resulting in death. This is my second go, and this time around I’ve only added 10L and then bought a small pump and tubing for a top feed, which comes on every 6hrs for 2mins. With the air stone in the bucket with only 10L is still splashes the bottom of the basket which is ideal and with the nutes the plant itself is absolutely cranking!! My que…
