Good afternoon people, I have a problem I'm hoping someone can help me with. I've just bought a 400w HPS lighting kit, its just the ballast, reflector and bulb. Ive never had one before so I'm not sure how exactly theyre supposed to operate, this one however is VERY VERY noisy. When I plug it in and turn it on theres a buzzing noise coming from the ballast that is loud enough to be heard 3 rooms away. Surely this isn't normal? And if it is normal how do people deal with this problem in stealth grows? Am I doing something wrong? Have I possibly hooked it up wrong? Hey everyone I've been given 3 plants a widow bomb a skunk #1 and a ak47 they are only 35cm tall with 5-7sets of leaves very very healthy just they can't be kept inside at my new place so I'm wondering what can I do and what will happen If I put em out bush and who knows what the weather will Be like it's been crazy here in nsw lately lucky rain hasn't damaged plants this grow *fingers crossed* only a few weeks left

High all, Well I am getting my equipment together for my grow, I have my lights, ventilation/odour control, most of the electrical components and am now looking at substrates and nutrients. I am planning a perpetual grow I am going to start with hand watering (at least the first 2 harvests) to get a feel for the strain. (Eventually I will set this grow up in an ebb and flow system) I was planning on using coco, but I am now thinking of keeping it as simple as possible and sticking with perlite (I have used perlite for all my previous indoor grows, so I already have a good grip on it) I just bought Dutch Master advance grow and bloom 2 parts, Not the best nutrient on the …
