I reckon perlite is shit, better off using scoria or clay balls in soil, perlite will compact and turn to dust eventually, causing a layer of hard to penetrate shit 4-6 inches from the top

the perlite that doesn't get blown away by the wind that is 

 

read a gardening book, its all relevant to growing cannabis in dirt

Umm the grow to survive thing was just a bit of a pun soory if I offended some good dudes out there. I mean personally I feel I need to have a real job for security is all.

 

Yeah I think we have reached the overall verdict that we shouldn't listen to everybody advice we should just do what works for ourselves.

 

And for the growing experience thing I was thinking it might be a good idea to share how long we have been doing this so I could understand the diferent perspectives from each person a little better and come to some conclusions to help wrap this up.

 

Oh and finally my growing experience is very little. I am the kid like you guys were that got fed up with the shitty tinny dealers and decided to grow there own shit so let's see how this goes.

Ok guys I've got a wee problemo.

 

I've tried to germinate my seeds and they don't seem to have popped up after 2 days?

 

Could there be any reason why or does it usually take a while longer than this for seeds to germinate?

Yeah, too soon. Depending on how deep you planted them it can easily take 5-7 days.

 

 

Do not overwater them, it won't make them come up any sooner.

Ok guys I have got a bit of an issue here.

 

It's been two days since I put the seeds in the soil here and they still don't seem to have popped up or germinated.

 

Could there be any possible reason for this to be the case.
