Can't see how LED's are cheaper to run, 500w per 1/2 kilo or a 1000w per kilo, roughly 

last dodgy run i did inside was 1150g 

 

you would probably have to veg twice as long, so it would cost heaps more lol

Better growers than me be pulling 2 kegs per 1000w of light, and my lights are paid off now , so the cost is irellevant

Having used both HID and LED I would say this, I definitely grew some superdense rock hard bud with HID but I am blown away by the yield and the quality from the LED lights. That being said I feel I could have some trouble in winter with the temperatures using LEDs so plan on maybe supplementing with some HID lighting throughout winter. I am definitely no expert, personally I don't really think it matters what kind of light you use to get quality bud as the environment is the number one factor.

I only use HID.

 

I did get a led once for my pushy,,,worked well too.

 

And a meizhi but got rid of it after a few weeks.waste of money that was .

 

I'll step into leds one day when I'm convinced they are worth it ,..probably good for summer.

 

But at 1400 bucks I don't see the point ,,,they don't seem to produce enough from what I've seen here ( sorry led lovers ).
