Organic, pro-biotic and organic growing without bottled nutrients

Recommended Posts

I use a plastic rubbish bin with sealed lid to keep the fungus gnats out but maybe I'm just paranoid from those days of using too much coco in my mix.

Get a new bin, not some old dirty one. Treat your soil mix, compost and worm farms like pets. Look after them then you don't have to worry about looking after your plants they look after themselves eventually.

Soil is still supporting the plants needs...

Nothing but water...

I noticed the mulch layer is breaking right down. Bit more sugar cane mulch on top isn’t cheating ?gallery_2463_1796_3236940.jpeg

lol "cheating" You mean applying standard organic gardening principles to your grow... Keep soil well mulched, microbes need carbon for efficient nitrogen cycling as well as generally maintaining optimal environment for microbiology... The aim is to keep the soil evenly moist and mulch helps alot with this.
