I'll go take one of the clone. Got plenty of the mothers and one in ground. Will be back soon when I can get off my arse again. Most of the clones are from my last indoor mother. This new one is a GG Allin I been struggling with.

Here's my finest clone so far. She's fast asleep right now since 8 but spends most of her days laying around in the sun these days. And a thicker mulch layer has improved her further in last few days. Having problems uploading

Here's the recovering gg clone. This thing looked seriously dead yesterday when I first put it in the box. The stem was a C shape and got worse so I went with it. Roots will be out the bottom side of stem. Will put in solo in a few days.

 

I'm cloning in glass with 5mm of tap water and aloe these days. Kiss method. Works great and I like to keep an eye on roots. No more domes or stuffing around with bubbler. Just patience and a couple of extra days time compared to anything else I tried but next time ill put in box sooner with castings and compost.

Sorry to hijak. I have plenty more pics of the others if interested. They are in the soil with same casting mix. Which is what this thread is about. I'm loving the nerd talk so don't let me interrupt. Can't wait to get some more amendments one day.

I'll have to plan that road trip coz I can't see any sustainably festivals coming up soon.

imo first port of call when cloning is to start with a really healthy mum 

a bit like starting with really fresh seeds , they kick into gear fairly quickly

I'd mount that CFL horizontally and get your plants closer. Can get really close to CFL as long as it's monitored.
