Does it matter if it's caramel pilsner malted barley?

which ever is the least heated , generally the lightest colored seed has been heated the least

malting is the process of germinating a seed & stopping the germination with heat & humidity to trap all the germination processors , enzymes 

the more heat the darker the seed = diff flav of beer & less enzymes

I ended up getting the caramel pilsner malted barley $7 a kilo and picked up a kilo of kelp for $15 and a bag of gypsum for $10...also got 1kg neem cake from eBay with $11 shipping

 

It's slowly coming together[emoji51]

Mad! I'm just happy I got some of the amendments y'all recommended! Next time I will know what I'm looking for!

 

Feels good getting ready for the season... [emoji16] just need biochar and scoria rock! Is red scoria at 14mil good?

it does feel good 

 

14mm will work but i use half the size 7mm but a lill harder to find in bag form 

might have to ring round the building supply joints & rock up with a trailer
