Well,,,sort of that garden bed there in is covered in bird netting so I just put the cover's on top of the bird netting as I thought that would be better than nothing as they will still get sunlight that way but could still get frost bitten to stuffed if you do,stuffed if you don't kind of scenario I recken

OK I'm heading of to check out a bloke's indoor set up this morning ,lucky for me he is willing to share his knowledge and give me some solid advice before I venture into the unknown of indoor growing,then I'll head over to the hydro shop and take a look and see what I can do,just hope I make the right decision's

Just grow the same as outside, with a light for the sun, 600hps is the go, dirt out of your garden so you know it works.

grab a fan for airflow and a extraction fan to take old air out, fresh air will find a way in unless your room is airtight.

 

unless you want to get all high tech, and spend a bit, aeroponics is the go, tubs and sprayers and chemical's

 

All I have is a bottle of PH test, a circulating fan and a open door to change the air when needed, and a couple of pots full of dirt hand watered.

 

seems to work alright. just don't jam it all in to small a room, need a bit of space for air.

Thanks Pedro thanks heaps,all I want is a basic simple set up that gets the job done,nothing fancy for now and I want it organic so yes k,i,s,s is the method for me,what's a fair price for 600hps? A rounds about ?

A good ballast a Philips globe and a reflector all for under $300, can get for about $200 but probably better getting a bit better quality

OK I decided to buy two 600hps with a light a reflector hood thingy, so all up I got,2ballasts,2bulbs,2reflectors for $400 and he gave me for nothing some,cloning gel,rockwool cubes,and a complete set of nutes that covers everything from start to finish even than though I told him I wouldn't need it but he gave it to me anyway, he reckons he gave me 180bucks worth of free stuff so I think I went alright I been stressing myself about about nothing, going to the hydro shop was easy at least I can say I've done it now and I can always update or change the set up later if I decide,good stuff I can't wait to get home now

You must have caught him in a good mood,my personal exp with hydro guys no where near as cordial and giving as yours,

 

Don't forget PH pens and couple fans,what beans you using ? From outside garden?,or gonna give clones a go.

 

So happy you've found another outlet to take your mind off things,you deserve it.
