First Timer Confuzed

She certainly is looking unwell, Take the advice of some of these OS mate and she will be up and thriving in no time. Maybe.

I too am growing in 100% coco and use Dutchmaster advance nut.

My tap water has a EC of .4, so in a 25lt resivour, i use 50 ml of both parts and 30ml of potash with about 2ml of ph down and my water is about 2.2ec and a ph of 5.8.

Have had a good run like this with the last 2 grows.

I water every second day manually and feed her about 3lts per watering each.

Am only learning myself but with this site we can al be greenthumbs. Goodluck

Got the coco from a hydro shop so i hope its good i have givin it a good flush last week..i got the ph to 5.8 its a bit easier with the right gear and info..

The plant is looking better already

First Grow was a bit of a f@#k up, but the next 2 including this one has gone well.

I owe it all to the people of OS, I'd still be figuring out where to put the water if not for some cobbers.

Litsen to the advice given m8, bit of research and you can't go wrong.

well i dont feel so bad then...hopefully i can turn this F!@#$ up around in the next week or so

 

the plant really has bounced back this afternoon alot greener foilage which it hasnt really had b4..im excited..

im about to set an automatic water timer what would be a good schedule.?

I'm glad it's all been fixed. I wanted to say just one more thing no one mentioned. Tap water can and often is full of salts and minerals. While it might be at a good Ph, it might be too high in say magnesium, and that can cause lockup too. If you notice a white crust anywhere the water has been, that's a sure sign the water is heavy with minerals. I have to filter mine. Just my 2 cents. I don't think it applies in your case, but it's something to remember.

Yes i checked my water straight from the tap it has a ph of 7.. that is one of the things i have learnt in the last week..(water from the tap is S!@#.!)
