Dave, I understand where you are coming from with this last post. You have shown a willingness to discuss the issue, have already made some changes and said you will consider further changes. But despite this, further responses from OS members continue to be laced with personal insults.

Please lets not let this thread degenerate. Lets try to focus on discussing the issue rather than attacking each other.

Also, as our friend budman has pointed out a number of times, these guys deserve respect. And only a precious few have shown them any respect in this thread. You can criticise what someone says about a particular issue, and still show respect. Its not like OS is doing anything for law reform is it? These guys operate a public bar where they smoke up with their customers on webcam! Imagine if every stoner in Australia had that attitude. They put their freedom on the line while we hide behind anonymous internet accounts. I know that the HEMP Bar guys have been insulting and condescending at times as well, but lets try to get above all that crap, please.

cheers all for your comments on my "revised statement". The HEMP Bar guys are welcome to use part or all of it, but its not really why I wrote it. I wrote it to try and show how the HEMP Bar crew can state their preference for organic outdoor pot while not attacking indoor growers. Its COMMERCIAL growers that are the problem, and that is not necessarily indoor.

hey budman, personally I haven't found mj usefull for any type of direct pain relief, but, I don't really have any health problems so perhaps am not the best person to comment :peace:

entyman summed it up well at the end of his post I think. We have no problem with you stating your preference for outdoor organic pot, but why do you need to include an attack on indica/indoor cultivation? I personally am not interested in providing any statements saying how great indoor pot is for you to quote, thats not the point of the issue at all. We're not trying to advertise indoor growing or argue its better than outdoors, we just want you to remove your statements that attack indoor growers, and hopefully enough arguments have already been stated in this thread for you guys to see that this would be the right thing to do. :peace:

it seems no one is willing to take me up on my offer (in my previous post)

but to be fair i will leave it open till wednesday

last chance to have ya say guys !!!

after that i just wont be bothering to read any more posts

we arnt the ones causing divisoin it wasnt us that started this thread

we merely responded to the attacks

we HAVE made changes to our mission statement to reflect the fact that we are listening to your concerns .

however, if all you can do is shitcan us ya can go stick ya head up the anal passage of a deceased canine

:peace: I'm speechless are you reading these posts? ^_- No one is trying to attack you or abuse you... People ask for facts and you ask for facts back? You don't even seem to have any on your websites either.

You are the ones trying to prove that hydro and cannabis indica are bad and you say you want to, and do teach thousands each year about the evils of hydro & cannabis indica :peace: this is really a major concern if this is the case.

Yes you have re-worded your mission statement but you have still missed the most important parts.

Again peoples keep it nice please as hard as it may be getting. :peace:

Hi Undertoka, thanks for the clarification about fact and truthes you have, IRT indoor grown cannabis and the hydroponic industry conspiricy.

Ok indoor grown is good because of prohibition.

More secure crops

Pests and rip offs can be lessened

Weather is less a problem, so crops can be grown anytime of year

Optimal plant conditions can be achieved, providing consistant, healthy yielding, clean flushed bud

Solid and resinous bud, that takes less to smoke for the same affect

Far less chance of LEO's spotting indoor crops from the air

Proof that growers will still grow and adapt, no matter what restrictions are placed on OUR herb.

This thread is not an attack on the HEMP bar Dave. It's a response to the HEMP bar attacking members of the same culture, in a shocking attempt to legalize the same plant. Or, a reaction to your attempts to discredit cannabis propaganda, by creating MORE. :peace:

Have a nice cruisey arvo :peace: :peace:

Dave, I cleared my cache, deleted my cookies, even restarted my PC and tried looking, but nowhere on your 'mission statement' could I find the link you mention.

So without reading this link that I cannot find, I think you may be having a hard time understanding most people in here, as the part that they seem to be taking an issue with is still there, plain as day. Can you see it?

Here it is anyways, I 'borrowed' it from your page so you could see the part (from what I could tell) which is getting most peoples backs up.

I'm not going to go into any long-winded explanations about why and how these two sentences are wrong, people have already done that alot better than I could do myself. Hopefully, though now that this piece of mis-information is right in front of you, you will see what everyone is talking about and know which part you (hopefully) should be obliged to change, as it is downright misleading and untruthful to anyone who doesnt know better.

My 2c anyways, disregard if you wish.

nugget :peace:

EDIT: maybe you could post this link you speak of in here to make it easier for me?

EDIT2: OK, I see your link now. Thanks for that, but you still have the part which offended the majority of people on the page (screenshot above)...?

How hard would it be, and wouldnt it be for the best, if the whole 'very real dangers of hydro' part was just deleted? I know it would make the mission statement shorter, and tbh I cant really see any other real problems with deleting it. Are there any reasons you refuse to delete it? (just curious, sorry). You guys would have to know that LEO most likely visits this site. You'd have to be daft to think that they dont. Imagine the laugh they're having at our expense... 'bloody stoners cant even agree on the thing they're fighting for'..... I can see it now..

I know you are trying to find some middle ground to make us all happy, but seriously wouldnt it be better to just scrap the whole part??

ok hows this for a compromise?

all you guys write a small "why i like hydro / whats good about hydro"

it seems no one is willing to take me up on my offer (in my previous post)

:peace: Would love to be able to contribute to your suggestion but I can't because , like u , I prefer my buds to have been nurtured by mother nature only (thats not saying I havn't smoked indoor soil or hydro , and outdoor hydro buds in the past) I was just very carefull about where it came from because I have the same concerns about the chemicals and sprays used by some growers.

:peace: But maby I could put this forward as a suggested change to the mission statement.

instead of reading like this ,

We are NOT referring to commercial Indoor hydroponic cannabis indica strains, genetically modified variants of Cannabis that produces disproportionate amounts of THC in a very short time under very bright electric lights with its roots in chemicals.

Maby it could read like this,

We are not referring to commercialy grown cannabis because of the obvious risks associated with some growers methods , nor any form of indoor grown buds or hydro because thats just what we at the hemp bar prefer .We like mother nature to care for our plants without the need for chemical fertilizers or artificial lighting .But then thats just us . feel free to drop in if your passing though because we always like to meet a fellow toka.

I hope this helps.

ps..........please don't class one of the worlds most amazing plants ie: cannabis indica as a dangerous plant as I am sure that would be a big mistake.

well, as I sit here smoking some very nice BUSH :peace: I'm thinking that not very many of us will be happy with that, because you are still saying stuff like "conspiracy of the hydro industry" and "genetically modified indica" on the main page. You don't really believe this yourself from your posts in this thread, its COMMERCIAL growers you're against right? You believe its unfair for indoor growers to get harsher penalties under the law right?

The HEMP Bar is about law reform. Yet your statements lend credibility to arguments that make cannabis laws worse (for indoor growers). I think the focus of your mission statement should be CANNABIS LAW REFORM. So I agree with Nugget, why have that stuff in your mission statement at all? Its not central to the issue. More specific opinions should maybe be placed elsewhere within the site, not feature in the Mission Statement.

and what ya talking about flounder fish for? :peace: how much bush YOU been smoking today Dave? :peace:
