Hey after doing a lot of research into the auto pot systems and reading a lot of negative reviews I've still decided to get a 2 pot systems as I believe with a little extra prep it will be fine, Such as airstones under the pots and regular flushing in case salts build up. My questions are though, With only bottom watering will it really need flushing weekly? As I thought unless you're top feeding this salt problem shouldn't happen. Also anyone currently using these systems please write your experiences and views on them as well as little things you've found to help. I've also got a bubble bucket with top feed I'll get going once this is all setup to compare the 2 methods

Hey guys, got a rdwc 4 bucket system. Ph 5.5, ppms generally 500. Dutch master a and b veg, zone, silica and calmag all at half strength. I'm getting signs of nute burn/calmag deficiency yet that can't be the issue. I had root rot at the start due to high temps but sorted that with a chiller and lots of zone and time. Root mass is pretty much pearly white now and I get plenty of new growth. I only get these issues on older fan leaves. Anyone shed light as to what's happening? http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14/12/30/a7b58988f10cf7c343766b6da27e61a0.jpghttp://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14/12/30/160092d2fd246bc4d3be823f09b3434d.jpg Thanks in advance guys

At the moment i am running a 6 bucket DWC setup but it is not a RDWC setup and its getting very annoying having to individually adjust ph and top up each bucket separately, so im going to start building my RDWC but i am still a little bit confused on how to create the flow or current in the setup. Using the photo below as an example, you can see the big black pump in front of the control bucket, connected to the last 2 buckets from a T-Piece, and im guessing the pump is PULLING from the t-piece and feeding back into the control bucket, Is this all that's needed to create a current and get the water to flow through all the buckets? also what happens with the resistance …

Hey Fellow growers, hope you all had a merry christmas!! Im still yet to create a proper setup, for now im just going with the flow, but I want to create a system setup, and I have an idea I wanted to run by other users who would have more experience and would be able to let me know if the design would work before I go purchasing all the parts etc. *my main requirement is to have the ability to move my plants from inside at night, to outside in the sun during the day. So one bucket per plant is probably required, as i cant see little 5 foot, 42kg me lifting a large tub full of water with multiple plants. Also important is shut off/ closure valves (I think thats what…

Hi all, I have a question if I may? I have just started the final 2 weeks of flower and 3 days into flush we are growing new white hairs. Is this normal? Flood and drain in clay balls, 3 x 300 watt led panels. Fresh PH'd water is returning at about 1/4 strength right now and drops about half the reading each new flush. Thanks in advance OzCleric

I'm looking into doing a DWC set-up after my outdoor grow has finished and was looking for peoples opinions on what you think is the most appropriate reflector would be for a room with 4 Large/Tall plants probably around (room size 2mx2m or 2.5mx2.5m) I'm planning on running 2 lights, and I'd prefer to stick with 2x600HPS or smaller if possible. Im only a beginer so please bear with me ...... be gentle, it's my first time ::

Few more weeks to go not long now, was given clones at start of year that were in a bit of trouble tried to bring all 3 back to life, was able to save one. Made sure she makes up for the loss. Last pic. Was given seeds from sweet seeds tried 3 creame caramel first, two germinated sucsesfully one never. Out of the two one more died from over nutes, one is left and will be next on my list after this grow. Will have a diary for the creame caramel grown in nothing but perlit. I have a question related to carbon filters- is it possible to invert a carbon filter having the filter outside the tent drawing the air out of the tent through ducting then into the filter? Has anyone had success with this?

Hey guys, Midway through my first indoor run. Running 6 x 8L pots filled with a 60/40 mix coco and perlite in a 1.2m x 1.2m x 2m space. Currently I'm hand watering 1L twice a day (which easily gives 30% or so runoff) but I really want to setup a automatic DRAIN TO WASTE system with homemade drip rings feed 3-5 times a day. I've been reading up on them for the past couple of days but still unsure about a few things. At the moment I'm going through about 12L of feed a day. How do I calculate how long and how often I would leave the pump on to see great hydro results? How big should my res be? What sort of pump is best? Would gravity feeding be possibl…

Hi fellow Stoners I've been lurking for a while, but now I make my intoduction... HELLO!!! Just settling in to residency, and thought it was time to stop taking a risk by scoring off a dealer and spending cash on average standard meds. I'm not new to growing, done a couple of DWC grows back home, and am waiting for my growing gear to arrive along with my furniture etc. in the next month or so. The main things I'm waiting for are my LEDs, a Helios 6 and 2 Helios 2's. They are the mutts nuts. I have my pH pen and EC stick, so just need a few things to get cracking. 1. Seeds. I am waiting now, it's been 12 days so far..... mainly Dutch Passion autos to get a quick fe…

Hi guys, I just wanted to get a bit of a discussion going with people using growool as their medium. I am interested in what people are setting there Ph at and the feeding regime. I have always been of the opinion that wool works best with the Ph a little lower, around the 5.5 to 5.8 range. I am interested to see what others do in wool?

Hi everyone, I'm new to the grow scene and I'm wondering who is the best hydro store in Brisbane. I was thinking it may be Nerang Hydro but I'm not sure. Will be setting up my grow in the next couple of months (probably about 4 plants) personal use, and I want to start off with the right equipment, advice etc. All recommendations will be appreciated. Kind Regards Dal
