Hi All, I'm very new to all this and I was wondering if anyone has had any success planting into abandoned bush turkey nests? These things are easily 3 meters across and maybe 2-4 feet high. The composition of the soil is loose but heavily humus based & rich in composted organic matter, seems like it would be the perfect medium and also very easy to dig into. I would assume one plant per plot would suffice and also how far can pollen travel, I've found 5 plots and the closest between the two would be 2km? Any feedback would be great.

was hacking my way thru my local bushland when i came across a black box which looked sus as, had been there a while showing rust and what not, but never the less needed investigating, was posting this to warn my fellow outdoorsmans that they can and do bug bushlands with recording devices such as this one, there was a microphone inside it. I was wondering if any of you have found similar things?

What do you feed your plants? There's a truckload of gear for hydro, I can't find much on bush. With using it have you noticed a difference in smell, taste and yield? Is it organic? I was looking at uplift at bunnings organic liquid fertilizer. As I'm still learning myself, so Im after all your knowledge :-) Is there anything to stay away from? Do you go off fruit or veggie or flower additives/fertilizer?

Just a question from a newbie, hypothetically speaking if I were to plant germinated seeds today and all goes well will the plants flower early next year? How does it work, or will they only flower during September/October depending on the strains? I ordered Durban poison seeds from Amsterdam Seed bank and was wondering if it's pointless planting them and having to wait a year until they flower. Any help would be nice thanks

Hi guys with a new season just around the corner I thought someone may benefit from my watering system for guerrilla growing.. my technique uses a roofing system i.e. polycarbonate sheets, guttering, stakes and storage tanks...this system should be set up as early as possible to catch the spring rains..its simple really and all material is light and easy to carry long distances through the bush.. the system can be scaled to personal needs i.e. more plants more water more materials...I use polycarbonate sheets to create surface area, plastic guttering to catch water, tarred wooden stakes for framework and 100-200l storage tanks you can even set up drip systems off the tanks…

Ok I have A question. I know dog/cat turds can work to help ward off wild animals while guerilla growing but does anyone have any other advice or suggestions. I was thinking at work today maybe dirty old cigarette butts in plastic bags would ward off animals and also those dog and cat sprays

Back in 2010 in suburban Brisbane I used our outside cat enclosure for a guerrilla grow. The cage was completely enclosed and came off the garage so while being stealthy it also acted as a deterrent to rippers as well. There were 7 or 8 plants in pots which were easily put back in the garage if we had guests. It also had a shelf which I used to do a screen of green with. View from the front Side view More snaps

Heyooo so i would really like some advice on what the best plan of attack would be for my situation.. My idea is to top the plant then move on to LST then go to scrog these are my concerns: I have already topped my plant once and not sure if I should do it again or if I even need to do it again. Since iv topped it when do I start to LST? Should I wait for the plant to grow a little more or at least Wait a week because it could already be under stress from me topping it? This next question is premature but thought I'd still ask now just so I can wrap my brain around the plan. So once I start to LST the plant how long do I wait until I move onto scrog? And with the scro…

Hi all. I am planning A guerilla grow in an empty lot near where I work. There is plenty of long grass cover and easy hidden entrances. I was thinking of using those 55-75L green bins from Big W as pots as they are already green so abit of camo. And in planning I noticed I can only get to said plot at least once every 10 days and need some advice on how to set the bins up so they can retain as much water as possible as summer gets bloody hot up here. But we get alot of storms over summer I was thinking of lining the bins with black plastic (holes punched of course) and adding water crystals to my soil mix and then on top adding A few inches of sugar cane mulch. Is thi…
