Hi all, Doing a tonne of research before I jump into my first grow in a little while. Will be growing outdoors in pots, lucky enough to have a yard with near-perfect sun exposure. Not lucky enough to have somewhere to plant into the ground without being found by unwanted eyes. Will be starting with some Autoflowers as I hear they're harder to mess up and better for a beginner grow. Also smaller until I work on my grow-stealth. Soil, I'm thinking of using Canna Terra Professional. Have heard it's great, but willing to hear any other suggestions. It's been a steep learning curve but I'm learning so much and I'm sure I'll be posting loads of questions soon enough. Lo…

If you came here just for research purposes or to find the strongest weed that can satisfy your need, keep reading to find out the strongest weed in cannabis history. If you are watching the news and you are updated, you might already know that weed is incredibly getting stronger this is based on annual reports from NIDA or National Institute on Drug Abuse. When the potency is measured by the THC content, marijuana is becoming unquestionably getting stronger, it is noticeable by comparison that the THC levels way back 1976 is 0.72% and in 2003 is 6.4% imagine what is it now in 2020?

After some crap luck with growing autoflowers I cracked two photo beans 6 weeks ago. Had a problem with the recommended dose of Powerfeed giving them nitrogen toxicity, thought I was going to lose them, but they've bounced right back after a flush and just being left alone. Had to defol a few leaves that weren't going to recover. They were both topped a few days ago. Haven't had much sun for a few days, but they've had a good drink from the rain. Noticed yesterday that roots are poking out the bottom of the pots. They were only transplanted 2 weeks ago. Will the roots just air prune and then go fill out the rest of the pot or should I put them into something bigger this w…

For any newbies out there wondering if the soil is an important factor... Grew the one with the splint on it in a mix of perlite/Richgro soil/Richgro compost. I grew a few years ago then took a long break, came back to it at a shit time and ended up cheaping out. The saying you grow in siht, you'll grow siht is really true. Feel like a dcik for wasting seeds on this. When I got sorted again and moved house, I decided to pop a seed I had left over and this time used 1 part perlite/1 part peat moss/1 part mushroom compost/1 part potting mix that was fluffy and not loaded with bark like the Richgro. The seedling was germinated in a jiffy pellet before being put into the cu…

Hi Growers, I've decided it's time to get into preparing my victory garden. The garden has been derelict for a couple of years as my time was taken up surviving lung cancer and caring for my geriatric pooch with breast cancer. The pooch has passed on now and I need to develop a new focus or fall into a heap on the floor from despair. So, I went seed shopping and bought a few things I have always wanted to grow. Linum Usitatissimum (flax) for both the seed and the fibre... I doubt I'll be weaving linen, but there is a rigid heddle loom in the 'supply' room if I get the urge. Twin purpose, flaxseed for the diet and stalks for paper making... I do like to paint on h…

Saw a similar thread when I was perusing a deserted gardening forum. I can't find any decent sort of forums for general gardening and thought it would be cool to see what everyone is planting out through the seasons?

And getting hotter. Smells pretty good. A bunch of hard work in those photos. Chipped/shredded garden waste, mostly poinciana mixed in with a couple hundred kilos manure. Predominantly horse mixed in with duck, chicken and alpaca. The plan is to to help my canna plants throughout their grow with particular interest in attracting Trichogramma , ladybugs, mantis etc. Anyone else doing this sort of stuff? Which plants / flowers are you using? Has it made a noticeable difference, or is it just a matter of finding canna plants with great genetics?

Hey folks! I don't often frequent the vegge gardening section of the forum (despite my love of vegetables) but I have a recurring problem and I can't understand why I have absolutely no problems when growing cannabis but whenever I take cuttings of other plants, they all end up dying! The missus and I went on a little adventure yesterday, visiting all of the local community gardens and local food forests in order to acquire some cuttings. The cuttings we took were all at least 10-15cm long, all seemed to be healthy and none of them wilted or became sick after being removed from their mother plants. Now unfortunately we did get sidetracked before potting them up at…
