hi all i just picked up a canna pamphlet with the recommended nute strength chart for the canna aqua range. it seems that canna recommends an EC no higher than 1.2 in veg and 1.5 in flower this is way lower than ive always used with other brands of nutes, being normally 2.0 EC in veg and 2.4 EC in flower. does anyone actually use canna nutes at the low EC as recommended by Canna? or should i ask has anyone actually used them at such a low level and found the recommended levels to be correct or are they a bit light on? i'm assuming that canna would know best seeing that they produce the product?

I've been a fan of CANNA from the first time I used their products. I haven't used all they have, but those things I have tried worked exactly as they said they would. Especially the rizontic which I think should be listed under the sub-heading of "Magic" Anyway, I see they have a new product, either it's out or it's going to be released soon. Something called "CANNA AQUA". It sounds too good to be all it says. No adjusting the PH? I mean it doesn;t say hey have buffers, their products are "more stable" than they used to be...it actually claims the PH will remain between 5.2 and 6.2 without us needing to do a thing. I realise a full point is a big differnc inPH, but …

My tap water ec is 0.7. I tested some rain water out of the tank and it was 0.1. My question: is there anything in rain water that wouldn't show up on the ec reading that would be bad for my plants or bad to smoke bb

Hi, Believe it or not, I've only been using Coco media for about a couple of months. Before that I'd always used vermeculite and or perlite. I've found this stuff (coco) to be quite outstanding as far as growth is concerned and was wondering how it would work with clones instead of rockwool. Has anyone here used coco to strike roots in clones and are there any caveats or even hints on using this media ?

Ok Im new hereso Hello everyone and hope you had a great Easter. Now I know this has probably been done to death but I want to garner as much info from the knowledgeable as possible so I thought I would start a new thread. Here goes. When preparing the hole how big do I have to make it?I know this sounds like a silly question but I have read on other sites people saying to make it 1 cubic metre and that sounds like a little excessive. Anyhow I have bought a good potting mix and some dynamic lifter, will get some perlite and water crystals. How much water crystals do I need?I know you can buy 500g buckets with a slow release fert from the hardware store. Is this enough for on…
