Allo All, So in getting ready for my next diary where I attempt a SCROG configuration, I decided I wanted to try different A&B so took my self down to one of the local hydro places and looked at the nutrifield range. So decided to change from cyco coco platinum to Nutrifield platinum, and also Nutrifield A&B. My choice was this is because I have been using Growright A&B with out knowing that Budright was the flowing part. The Nurtifield A&B covers all. However - the gent said he had a few samples of their boosters and gave me 3 little bottles. This is where I am a little concerned as I don't fully understand them. So I was given the following; …

Hi all, second post now. I have 6 afghan kush indoors under 400w hps. Got them as well rooted and established clones about 2 weeks ago and while they are growing at a fast rate and looking healthy i wanted to give them more co2 to try and push them faster so i have decided to brew 30L of hard cider in my grow room. Am expecting around 8.5% alcohol so this means it ought to be alot of co2. Has anyone tried this before? Is there anything i should be aware of that i havn't thought of or could this be a good idea?

My PH is always very low (about 3.5) after I add my nutes to my water. I have been using some stuff off Ebay to bring the PH up but it seems to be using it up pretty quick. I want to find a more affordable solution, after some research I figured these 2 products together could be OK to bring my PH up while mainly using the Calcium Hydroxide with the Potassium bicarbonate included about every 4th watering, Calcium Hydroxide - builders lime - http://www.bunnings.com.au/australian-builders-3kg-hydrated-lime-_p0760379Potassium bicarbonate http://www.bunnings.com.au/eco-organic-garden-500g-eco-fungicide_p2961113 any opinions on this and if you think it will work fine? I u…

Hello guys, I'm new to Australia and I'd like to grow one or two plants there. Where do you usually buy all the necesary things? I went to bunnings and saw I can buy pots, soil and fertilizer there. But what about the rest? I mean things like light meter, pH meter (with all the solutions), pH up & down, lights etc.. Do you buy it online on ebay and amazon or is there a real store here (Sydney) where I can buy it in person?

Hi Guys, This is my first grow and i need the help of you veterans. I raised my grow from seed and they seemed to be doing well however I have recently repotted them into 30 cm pots using a grow medium consisting of Hortico potting mix, perlite, vermiculite, a small amount of dynamic lifter and some organic compost. Since repotting them I have noticed most of the plants are cupping one quite badly and a couple of them seem to be getting the "claw" look (shown in pic), Is this nitrogen toxicity? I dont think im over/under watering as when I put my finger in the soil it is only slightly damp. If it is nitrogen toxicity due to the dynamic lifer should I repot again witho…

Hey guys, i ordered some seeds from bonza seeds and got the following: It is the Greenhouse seeds Money Maker Feminzed. Originally seed went into little peet pot, then put straight into a clay pot for about a month, he then was topping the plant every now and then whilst it was in the pot and just today was transferred into the soil (same spot as last years grow that we only got 13 ounces from becaues it was a very tall plant and it blocked out the light at the bottom). I have attached pictures of what it looks like at the moment. So basically we were a little bit late off the bat growing this year, the seeds arrived late. You can clearly see where we are at now. I…

Some interesting fishy products , organic & foodgrade http://www.australiansoilbiologicalsupplies.com.au/professional-products & a place to get your soil tested have never used these products but the fish & crustacean looks very interesting as a feed for plant & soil & part of your IPM with chitin in Crustaceans , ?????? Single Fish $16.50 1lt Fish & Crustacean $16.50 1lt This product is very unique, with an average of 30% of crustacean shells blended with the fish input. Fish + Crustacean Hydrolysate shows extremely good results when tested for feeding biology. Test results show it feeds Fungi, Protozoa, Bacteria and other very important…

Hey guys. Starting a new outdoor grow this year. Have just planted 3 into my raised garden beds with another bean in the pot waiting to pop. Placing 2 in each bed as they are regular seeds so hoping to atleast get 2 fem's this yr. anymore is a bonus. Strain: pennywise Im trying to go full organic. Beneficial microbes, seasol etc so straight tap water is a no, unless it has sat for 2 to 3 days. We have been getting mid 30's temps as of late and they were cooking in my little plastic black pots. So i decided to transplant them this arvo as i have pea straw mulch in my beds to keep em cool. Only prob is i only had about a ltr of rain water left and when adding seasol i acci…

Hey guys, have you got any tips for a first time auto-grower. I am wondering what I NEED to have a plant that grows. I am looking for the most basic nutrients I need without all those complicated routines to make the harvest bigger and without using lots of nutrients. (Tight budget and I don't really care about having a huge plant.) I am going to do an outdoor grow in an auto-watering pot. Growing some white widow (auto). Cheers .

Hey guys Im about to plant one of these in the ground: Strain Hunters Money Maker Feminized Cannabis Seeds and one of these in a pot: Barney's Farm Pineapple Chunk Feminized Cannabis Seeds I was just wondering what i should do nutrient wise? Last time i had issues with my potted plant because i over did it. I forgot how much i was using. Id like to know if i should use a bloom and flower or what not seperately ? How much for each relatively (potted vs ground)? How much and how often to water them in WA/perth climate? Whats a good brand i can get in australia? I just want to confirm what i think is right, i've done a lot of googling but found it suprisingly h…

Hi there, I have a new little CFL cupboard grow on a budget and I would like to use some organic fertilizers I had before. Unfortunately the ratios are not what the preferred grass nutrients are. So I'm thinking how to get a mix as close as possible to the preferred grass amount? For example one bottle has high nitrogen and lower Potassium and even lower Phosphorus. Then another bottle has equal Potassium and Phosphorus with no Nitragen. So using the details I have obtained could anyone help me work out how to get the best nutrient mix from these 3 bottles I have as below: Bottle 1 Amgrow Nitrosol Liquid Plant Food http://www.hortipedia.com.au/amgrow-nitrosol-liqui…
