hi, as you can see in the pic my plant has about 3 or 4 leaves like this, and the rest all look big and healthy. the plant is in week 3 of veg stage, using flood and drain feed method 1/2 an hour every 2 hours. plant is growing in expanded clay. light is a 400watt MH, 350mm/14" above the plant. pot size is 12". nutrients used are CANNA Vega at 3ml/L. using Rhizotonic (2ml/L), Superthrive (.25ml/L), Formule 1 (2ml/L), and budlink (5ml/L) additives. i also use a foliar spray once a day using the same nutes and additives at 1/2 strength. PH i aim for is 5.8 - 6.2. low humidity, around 22°C. the plant strain is a misty. any help would be much appreciated. thankyou.

hey all, not sure if this is a nutrient problem as such but i do have a query amount my nutrients and was hoping for your expert opinions. i am new to growing so i really know fuck all about nutrients except that they have to be there... i have been using my local hydro shops own brand of nutrient, he claims its basically the same as more expensive brands, but then he would say that.. ive also been trying to look online for info on what ingredients and the quantities are in the nutrients but there doesnt seem to be much. the only 1 that i could find that listed anything was dutch master and they only mentioned 3 ingredients.. so i thought if i put a lis…

It was suggested that I purchase 'neem oil' and as I was at a garden centre earlier today I found 'Eco-neem' which doesn't actually say anything about neem oil. Same as?

Here are some pics of my aeroponic clones, the two on the back have been in there for twice as long and have good roots as shown below. The new clones are yellowing in the middle of the leaves though, is this a ph problem? Tips burnt initially due to too high nutes (1.8, brought now to 1.6 now).

Hi Im currently flowering 2 plants in a small cupboard under a 400W HPS. They are growing in soil, watered by hand, with some 'thrive' fertaliser added every now and then. So far all has been going well, but now, 34 days into flower i have noticed something unusual.. Some of the leaves are turning yellow and darkening at the tips. Furthermore some of the more healthy looking leaves are darkening at the tips. Photos attached. I had afew ideas from reading through the forums - perhaps overwatering, or possibly some sort of nutrient deficciency. It would be great to get some opinions from the experts! Cheers

sorry about the lousy pics but it's as good as I could get. Under a microscope I can see bugs on the underside of leaves I recognise but forget the name of. So far I can't see any movement under what looks like a scab held a small distance off the leaf. The critter builds this 'roof' it lives under, possibly out of excrement. The larger, so far, are visible with my lousy eyes, the smaller only just so but a decent set of peepers would probably say otherwise. I'm actually suprised because if they are what I think they are the 'pest oil' I recently used chasing out the last lot of uninvited guests is expected to effect them. TIA

Hi, I usually use potrevolution.com but they've been down for 1 month. So I'm trying this site. I got some seeds (12) Haze and Skunk of another user and I've only managed to get 1 plant to grow. I was growing bagseed before and they grew like weeds but the smoke was CRAP!. Are the Haze and Super Skunk 44 hard to grow or is it me. :0) Dibb

some of the new growth in my plants have brown soft leaves so i investigated a little and noticed tiny caterpillar/larve, they are no more than 5mm long and you gota pry open the new leaves to see them, I was wondering if tomato dust will kill them? just yesterday i sprayed the plants with eco-neem to get rid of any bugs and leaf eaters, will tomato dust do any good? I know i can get yates caterpillar killer but other than that is my only alternative to chop the new growth at the tips just under the leaf cluster? I dont mind as long as it doesn't have a big impact when flowering starts.

Hey guys, I am about 1-2 weeks away from this harvest. I planted some bag seed of mexican rag weed, (very brown and crappy). I have had great results growing Aero, You would think I bought some good seeds. Well I have a problem. Almost all of my bud are very potent, crystals, resin, sweet sweet smell. I have 5 main colas on top that are huge, but they have almost no smell or resin, crystal. The pistils themselves seem new (before they get furry with trichomes), but they are not. So I have these 5 big buds that are finishing but they have no smell or crystals yet! Side branches on the same plant however have very nice crystals! I dont think I got them to close to the li…

Hi Guys You helped me out brilliantly when I got a dose of spider mite with my last grow - sorted it all out (I got 3.5 lb from two girls - very happy). Now I've got a problem with the next grow - the plants have been 'turned' for about 4 weeks now, but the heads are nowhere near what they should be - very small white buds. The plant itself seems really healthy, no yellowing or curling leaves etc. I normally use cyco flower a & b but this wasnt available so I got hold of an Australian equivalent - the bloke at the shoe swore it was as good, and I'm using DM Gold for the nutrient. I'm just a bit worried that I'm going to end up with nothing at the end of this gr…
