Salty soil.

Recommended Posts

Need some help please. Has anyone got any clues on how to neutralize salty soil? My fault I always put a bit of rock salt around my out door plants to keep the slugs abd snails at bay. (Mental note don't ever do this if ripped, less was not enough). The new bud leaves are curling and growth has slowed right down. Definately too much salt. :pokey: Stupid stupid me. Thanks people.

Just poured a bucket of fresh water over soil trying to flush it away.

Thanks mull and shroomy. The lime sounds good. The plant looks a lot better after the bucket of water I flooded it with last night. :) Never ending self education (with a bit of help from my friends in here). Just shows not matter how long you do something there is always more to learn.
