Hey guys, first time poster, first time grower and long time smoker here. Trying out a single plant cfl closet rig, hopefully I'll get a proper led rig at some point in the future, but for now the bunnings rig is where it's at. The problem I'm having is that the plant has been outside since germination, just because I had no way of getting it to my place until now. So it's grown in a Far North Queensland climate and photo period for about 4 weeks now. Not great I know. It's been getting a ton of rain, maybe too much? I'm not too sure but the first leaves that came up have gone fairly brown, you can sort of see them underneath the main leaves in the photo, and also on…

Hi there, I'm into week 2 of flowering on this plant, could you please tell me these "balls" are anything to worry about? its a White Widow Feminised Autoflower. I've read so many different threads with conflicting information. Some say "calyx", others say male plant (though they're single so don't think its that), others Hermie, others say "don't worry about it!". Any advice would be appreciated.

We've been having a little war with the little bastards of late. Neem oil cuts the population down, but they breed back up in no time. I've been looking in to natural options. There's your Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis. The beneficial bacteria found in products like Gnat Off and Gnatrol. It seems that Bti is no longer available to the general public in Australia. I have found several mentions by different councils that use it for mosquito control, and I was informed that it stopped being stocked on Australian shelves about 2 years ago. I do not know what import/quarantine laws are involved if one was to buy it for overseas. Then we have Steinernema feltiae, a ben…

Hi all, just looking to get some advice from some experienced stoners / growers. I have a little bit of green moss growing on the surface of the coco in one of my 1.5 ltr seedling pots (100% coco grow), should I be looking at removing this or is it something that is harmless or maybe even beneficial to the grow medium? Cheers in advance Zen Budda

After harvest I spotted these buggers all over the stems, I already suspected I had them as I'd spotted the ants that farm them earlier in the grow. Every grow I've ever done outdoors has suffered from Scale Aphids and now they're a hassle for my indoor grow. As far as I'm aware these are very difficult to remove, Ive been through the previous threads and found a few answers and was wondering if anyone had a definitive way of removing these buggers. Thanks in advance.

I feel rather silly and I don't think I'm doing very well haha. I'm a first time grower, my little plant is about 10cm tall with very tiny leaves. It's at least 3 months old, it's not dying but it also isn't growing. It was initially grown on my windowsill in compost (yes, I know *facepalm*) It's now outside in a sunny position, it receives water and I have fertilised it (not too much) I just don't understand why it seems to be in suspended animation. Does anyone have any idea what may be going on?

This is on one of my biggest / tallest plants, its day day 34 into flower and day 82 from seed... The first pic is of what looked like a cluster of sacks, i pulled it off and it did feel like 3 separate little balls but really squishy and crushed em didn't feel like actual seeds though... I could only get a quick pic as was running late for work but what do you guys think ? 2nd pic is of the actual full plant.

61 days into flower, the strain is an Nyc Diesel (Soma) but I must of got a weird pheno because the flowers are essentially empty seed pods though the plant is female as there are pistils everywhere. I took an early smoke sample and it doesn't do much to me, maybe a couple more weeks would improve the potency but I doubt it, I wanted to take her to 10 to 11 weeks but I'm worried. I should probably pull it now eh?

Hi everyone, its getting to that time of year for harvest and my outdoor plants are looking ripe, iv started flushing them for the last week or so instead of feeding them and they have started to go a shade of purple on both the buds and stems, this occurred at the beginning of my grow as well before i started feeding them they showed a lot of sigs of purple discolouration along the stems mainly but now it seems to have spread to the buds. Is this a natural occurrence because i have halted the feeding process? should i just keep flushing them for the next week or so? thanks fdl

I grew a Stacked OG Kush plant indoors last winter and stuffed it up with nute burn. However, when I closed the indoor tent down the plant had showed sufficient promise to make me want to try it outdoors. So I cut it back and let it reveg outside, eventually planting it in the ground. The plant grew really well with many, many branches coming from the base. I pruned these back to about 6 main ones and started tying them down to open the bush up. However during the course of the summer I broke several branches because they were just too brittle and snapped instead of bending. So, now in late flower I have a really thick bush left that I can't open up to the light …
