So I’ve got the dreaded spider mite on one of my two outdoor ladies. Ordered 2000 Persimilis and released around 10 days ago. The spider mites still seem to out number the Persimilis by a fair amount. Basically I turn over leaves and still see mites but very rarely see any Persimilis? Anyone else had experience with the effectiveness? I was going to order more but not sure if I’m being impatient.

Need help here, with the cutting I have for my next grow one then two and now all have black mold on top of the rock wool. First time I have experiences this. They've have had a rough time over summer here. Can I fix it or should I just toss them? I can regrow what I currently have in the tent and take some clippings from them but it will mean I will loose a strain I planned to grow over winter which will piss me off. If I have to do it though I will, and see if I can find something else. I try to grow sativa over summer and indica over winter. My main concern on keeping them is when I put them into flower under the hps, I'm effectively taking mold into the tent. It's r…

I've posted a similar question in my grow journal, but I'm not sure it will get many views there and might be better off in the troubleshooting section. Looks like I might have my first nutrient problem on my first grow (DWC, Mills nutes, NL#5), single plant, further details here) . We are 6wks from the day the first bud started to flower. I reduced my nutes to about 970ppm this week in anticipation of flushing next week or the following. Still following the Mills feed chart as it hasn't steered me wrong yet, but on the low end of the recommend dosage. I see some brown or rust color spots that seem to start at the central vein of the leaflets. Only a few leaves affected…

Ive been battling bud rott for a while now because of my own laziness and i live in a high humidity area. So ive just started adding neem to my watering can when i water. The question is does anyone think the plants will take the neem up into the plant and use it to help prevent bud rott or do you think im just wasting neem. Im thinking im just wasting neem. No fungus nats in sight but. Ive had a good read of the www with as usual conflicting reports. Just after some educated arseholes im mean opinions. Do you think the plant will take the neem up to help prevent bud rott or not. Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

Hello Everyone, I'm a new member, (signed up today) and I'd like to gather an understanding to determine if my plant is dead or not. I can provide photos if this is the easiest way for the experts to assist? I've done a bit of reading but the reason I've decided to sign up on the forums is to attempt to get some first hand advice, and also a lot of articles and information I've read will often contradict other information / articles. So some quick history on my plant; Re-potted about a week ago, clipped off all the dead leaves and took it back to bare basics (I hope this was the right move, from what I've been reading the thought process was to "shock" the plant bac…

Hi, I suddenly have spotty leaves. Growing in coco/perlite, outdoors. I had decided to feed advanced nutrient Sensi grow coco and bloom, mainly because of the ph perfect technology but, have been using powerfeed the last couple of weeks after realising I was posted 2 bottles two bottle of bloom part b. Temps have also recently been in the high 40’s. This is my first time growing, and not really sure what I’m doing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Howdy Folks, I have a friend who has several plants that are starting to die off in a big way, these are outside and this is in the southern hemisphere so are starting to go to head at this time of year. he is very careful with his soil preparation and has been doing this for many years in the same area. The issue is that the plants which are around 5 foot tall at the moment are starting to die off, the stalks are going very woody at the bottom and it is heading up the main stem, as it goes up the stalk the leaves are going yellow and dying. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what it could be, he has used the same area for many years and never had this problem, over t…

Hi all, 1st grow, just one plant that was given to me by an ex, was being grown on a window sill, was about 30cm when I adopted her, she's been resurrected more times than Dracula, I bought a grow tent and kit (not just for her, was thinking about starting a little grow) so Ive been trying to keep her alive and I've somehow taken her to flowering, I've got so far I dont want all the time and effort to go to waste, I'm growing organic, im using maily Biobizz nutes, Can any one see what my problem maybe and suggestions please, posted some pics to see what you think, Cheers Rob Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk

Hi all. We've had some hot weather here in SA but on the hottest days I've put shade cloth over my girls. They did get a little thirsty on a couple of occasions so this might just be the plants drawing moisture in. However I'm wondering if this could be a nute problem. Northern Light. 50L pots. Were in Tomato, herb and vege mix alone in 30L pots but now it's getting closer to flowering I put them into 50L with garden mix, no added nutes as I'm adding my own nutes to the medium. Feeding with Power Feed, Rock brand root tonic. Foliar spray of seasol and chilli garlic repellant when needed. I only spray in the evening with no direct sunlight. Thanks everyone :-)
