Seems theirs quite a few ppl having problems with them bloody mites, thought this might interest you. Professional 3 Way: We took one of our nicest F1 hybrids containing DJShort and Sensi Seed Bank Genetics and crossed it with a beautiful Northern Lights #5 Male. The result is a very short, bushy compact plant with avery high flower to leaf ration. Almost 100% Indica. Excellent Resin Production and strong aroma make this an Indica lover's favorite. Very overpowering Indica Stone. This one will knock you down for more than a few hours. Spider Mite resistant. You will want to select a mother for cloning. Hi there. I've brought my bbxww ladies inside, and they're doing well, just starting to put up new vegetative shoots. One plants in a perlite/expanded clay/growool media, and the other was just transferred into a bubbler yesterday. I've had a spider mite problem outdoors this year, can't do much to stop em, so consequently I've noticed the very beginnings of small infestations. Only a few, and only on a couple of leaves on each plant. I've used white oil in outdoor gardening to control this pest, and I've had pretty good results, but indoors is a different matter, yes? Normally the 400w hps is kept around 30cm away, but as I applied white oil I raised the lamp anoth…

Does anyone have any advice for acclimatising plants growing in less than ideal outdoor conditions to much happier, much higher light conditions indoors? They're under a 400whps, one in a bubbler and the other in a mixed media of perlite/expanded clay/growool floc. The light has been raised to 45cm from the tops because of current spraying with white oil, but I'm worried the lighting could cause some probs. Or will any light scorch or any other problems be restricted to the outdoor growth, with the new shoots being produced being already used to the environment? Any advice appreciated.

nutrient strength

I was told by different people different things in regard to strength, i have been told 1200ppm is good, also Dutch Master is a good nutrient. Opinion is Powergro is a better yielder. Potash is stored in the plant to increase weight overall. Max may have vitamins and all the fancy metabolites that Dutch master pioneered. Yes similar to Superthrive and Nutriboost. I prefer Nutriboost for the 1-NAA that swells plant tissues. Snake tank is fine for plants. Metal adds zinc, iron, copper etc, so keep it out of the nutrients. Temp of 25 degrees is ideal A flowering plant will take 8 weeks to finish avg. If you take cuttings at 2 weeks into flowering, they take 2 weeks to ro…

Moulds

I have made a posting that I copy/paste from Marijuana.com, I dunno if it's useful to post here, but I am sure there will be growers with mouldy buds and they probably will end up asking about it, this link is the post I posted at Cannabis Research Fourm.... it's more about the "Health side" of mouldy buds. Rather than how to treat plants that got moulds. Mould FAQ Cheers, Urbanhog

I just had a look at my plants and the yellowing seems to be getting worse! They are in week 3 of flower and are 3 1/2 months old in total. I have been told that the shade leaves do yellow and die of slightly in flower and this is expected with sativa dominant plants but the yellowing seems to be working its way up to the leaves on the same nodes as the buds!! I am feeding them with 1/2 strength fish ferts (N) and full strength potash (K) (P) with added Mg. Buster.

The plant is 6 to 8 weeks into flower. The buds are all still white hairs, there's no more than 5 redish hairs on the whole plant, so this tells me that it's only in the middle stages of flower. The prob is, all the big fan leaves, from the bottom to the top of the plant are going yellow.. at a very quick rate. Only thing i can think of is it's been starving and it's starting to eat it's self. It's on a slow drip system in dirt so i soaked it today for the first time in a few weeks, hoping it'll come back to good health.

I had one plant going in a bubbler with a half strength mix of canna veg nutes. After a week I added some nutes to increase the mS reading from about 1.6 to 2.4. The canna bottle says to aim between 1.8 and 2.6 from memory. Anyway the plant started to show early signs of nute burn with cupping leaves after 2 weeks. I thought this may be a sign that the system needed a water change. So I drained the bubbler and added a fresh batch of full strength nutes. Well over the next couple of days the nute burn got worse so I emptied the system and now have them in plain PH adjusted water to flush. Pic below. My question is when you flush your plants in this situation how …

Hi all, Tom has asked me to post on a trial I am about to do using "green lacewings" for bug control in my garden. Some of you I'm sure are quite familar with our friend the spider mite, I have on previous occassions used predator mites as a means to rid these with good success. I had then sourced them thru my local hydro shop was around $45 per 5000. problem I had with them is that they were only viable for that crop, and all died when subsequent harvest. I still have mite probs but control early with neem oil . I have a mate who has ordered some lacewings and has far to many so is sending excess to me. the larvae of this bug is the killer he feeds on aphids mainly …

I came home tonight and found my bush clones 1/2 eaten i found the problem it was these tiny catapillars???? what the?? I killed them all by squashing them and sprayed all 4 clones with neem, how often should i use neem?? also on the plastic around the small rockwool cubes there is what looks like mould? what conditions are wrong in my setup?? too much water? too much humidity? too much heat? these clones have not rooted visually yet, and have been taken a week ago, how long would i expect to wait. i have a fishtank lined with white/black plastic, is is air tight and vented a few times a day, (well its a snake cage with sliding doors the whole front of the tank ope…
