Hi all fellow growers, just a quick question. Does anyone else have problems with grasshoppers here in Queensland outdoors. I have had heaps and the only success I've had is catching them actually on the plant and squashing them. I've noticed some of the stems have been stripped of green, like ring barked. I assume it's the pesky grasshoppers as that's all I really see on there. As I'm trying to keep as natural as possible I've sprayed a homemade garlic spray but not very effective. Any suggestions appreciated. [emoji38][emoji38] Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

Hope everyone is having a successful outdoor season... I've had a strange one so far. Lost some beans, battled with bugs, and my girls went into flower early. I did probably get a little too excited and started everything a little too early this year. It's all been a good learning experience that's for sure. I've lost about a month of growth due to the re-veg I reckon. Anyway, below is a pic of the veggie patch. Its a little bare, another lesson learnt. Get the other veggies in earlier... Cheers everyone, happy growing! JT

Long time no post! How has everyone been? Ive missed hanging out here! Hahahah Well, ive packed up my tent for now. (Bloody power bill was killing me) Just so happens that i ran out of beans also.... Put my last 10 (mixed) bagseed beans in the night before new years eve, but only had 3 come up. (Old stock. Like 10+ years. Been in and out of the freezer a few dozen times. ) Topped all 3 today. Ones about a foot tall, 2nd abit shorter, and the 3rd is about half a foot. (Will take some pics tomorrow n post em) None have thrown hairs or balls yet. Anyways. I ordered some Turners Bush seeds from Southern Star Seeds. Planing to let them do their thing 100%. (Except if a…

Chasing some feedback on best nutrients to feed outdoor plant starting to flower. Last year I used monstabud which worked well, I've been feeding my plants just a basic magicgro fertilizer while in veg.

I bought a few seeds from Yantra last year so that I could try growing a few different varieties. I decided that I would grow in pots so that I could control things a little more than if they were straight into the soil. I also decided to add some Brunnings 30L Coir Garden Soil Block to the organic potting mix in hope of helping moisture retention which turned out to be a big mistake. I have worm farms so I added a couple of handfuls of castings to each pot for fertilizer. I put the seeds in early September and they all came up with good healthy seedlings (I used Bunnings Coco pots and a seed raising mix. A couple of weeks later I transplanted them…

Righto.. This is what you get when the mind is constantly ticking over trying to come up with a solution to growing outdoors in a exposed area and to keep prying eyes away, as well as the kids. I don't need anything large as I'm the only Cannabis Consumer here, and I can grow 2 or 3 crops a year to keep my jars topped up. I can't remember the dimensions now, but it's something like 1m wide x 1.6m long and about 1.2m deep. But it basically has a basket inside it that I can raise and lower as the plants grow. The mechanism I used to raise and lower the basket is a basic boat winch. The basket is raised by 4 cables attached to each corner, which eventually join up at one…

Can anyone tell me whats happend here. I got 4 random seeds from a friend. 2 were male 1 was female and 1 was both. It turned male on me so removed it at placed it on the side of the house. After 1 week it went back female? The color of the bud says its ready but the buds are not fat. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

Hi all. Hope you're well. I think I'm close to the end of flowering. Perhaps not. Just checked a pic. Only about a month into flowering....Really just waiting for more pistils to darken and more amber in the trichomes. However, I noticed some balls with a long slender protrusion under them. I was wondering if this was bananas forming. They aren't yellow but in one of the pics you can see a lityle group all in one spot. Looking forward to your opinions.

top plant is critical strain, and the other 2 are medi bud and ak-47 on the right......My grow journey has had a few hurdles so far. First i put them outdoors too early from having them in side on a 14/10 light cycle they started to flower hating myself at this stage i decided to put the strongest solar lights around each plant for an hour at dark for 1 month. It did help, it slowed if not stopped the flowering process all together after the first week. i than took solar lights away and grew wonderful, THAN LOST 2 PLANTS TO STORMS and few branches off each of the 3 plants i have left...i have secured every stem but every time it rains and windy i lose at least 1 stem per p…

G day everyone, I’ll do a quick introduction before I get into the details. I am a bit of a green thumb and have always loved gardening, from your usual herbs all the way to bonsai. However 2017 has been my first year growing bud and I’ve loved every bloody minute of it! Such a fun and rewarding experience. I began my first grow (which I have a grow journal about so I won’t go into detail) with Feminized White Widow seeds from ILGM. I began my grow with 3 of these seeds, all 3 sprouted and grew healthy. A few bumps along the road but overall doing well. I originally purchased a 10 pack of seeds for about $100 and thankfully they arrived. However, I have not b…

I put this post up a few days ago as I really needed some help, being a newbie to all this but as yet no one has replied, so being as you all have been at this a long time I'm sure someone can give me a little advice please help, thank you Hi all, as a new grower I just want a simple organic way to feed my girls. I know they need lots of nitrogen in veg and less in flower, I was told by someone just give them Seasol powerfeed in veg and the purple Powerfeed in flower. Also how often to feed. I'm not smoking it but using for medicine. Any help appreciated.

Hey everyone I just have a quick question about flowering Outdoors, this is my 2nd outdoor grow so still a Newby. I have 2 Feminized indicas [Grandaddy Purp] that I got from MSNL last year, which grew perfectly last grow. But last time they were planted in the ground, not in 30L pots like this grow. I am trying to keep these two small by topping and a bit of LST. Due to privacy. So I’m having another go at it. My plants sprouted on November 11th 2018. So 77 days ago (they’re 2 months, 16 days old) And then I topped both plants (1 month, 11 days ago) at the 6th node I think. They recovered fairly slowly and had a couple minor issues which I’m assuming was from t…
