Hey all, I've got a few Barney's Farm auto seeds i'm wanting to use, and i'm thinking of trying hempy buckets. They seem like a tidy, low maintenance set up but i've got a couple questions and wouldn't mind some pointers from the pros if you got any The setup - Jiffy pods for starters, then2-3x 10L Black Bunnings bucketsOutlet taps to mount ~50mm off the bottom100% PerliteMegaCrop for nutes1x 600w HPS1x1 TentHand wateredSo the questions i've got niggling in my head are - Do I need air stones in bottom? What ph level does everyone recomend, I’m using advanced nutrients micro,grow & bloom which is made specifically for the plants but I’m getting a reading of around 4.7 and I’ve been told 6.8 is the go, should I raise the ph of my solution or keep it as recommended as its cup winning nutrients, cheers Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

Hey crew When flipping the lights to flower do you let the tips of the plant come up through the net , or do you keep training them under the net the entire time to expose the entire branch to the light ? I’ve been training them but then once flipping I’ve let them naturally come up through the net - noticed it’s then shading out a lot of the popcorn buds which would have more potential if it was laid sideways and they could turn into big colas themselves is that the go ????? Hi guys. I am wanting a few tips and some leads on different products. First off, I have a 1.2x1.2x2 tent coming with a 600w hps cooltube and a cfl for starters. I was going to go led, but will look at that for next grow. My initial idea was to try dwc, 2 plants in a 50 litre tub. I would like some leads on a good locally available sterile agent like z7. Hey everyone just want to ask a question about a lot of pics I've seen throughout the forum of plants that are obviously right before harvest. Seems many people trim pretty much every leaf off leaving just bud and the plant still intact. Is this to harden the buds? Or perhaps to focus the last of its energy into bud size? Has anyone tried adding a UV B light late flower? Did you notice any difference in final potency? It’s supposed to help increase THC levels and there are cheap UV B lights used for reptiles which would be easy to use. Using a HLG which doesn’t appear to have any UV B spectrum. Cheers. Just sitting here, having a sesh and chatting in chat and the thought occurred to me, just how deep does the water need to be for it to be considered DWC? I had a set up a while back I called the "kiddy pool" set up because of how the plants were set above the res and the res resembling a kid's wading pool. The plants were fed from the top and it drained back into the res, eventually the roots grew down into the res and the plants boomed when they did. The depth of the res was only ever about 100mm deep. I guess it was a bit of a hybrid between a flood and drain setup and what I like to call SWC (shallow water culture). Hi all, Complete novice please be kind. I’m a long time chronic arthritis and MS sufferer. Been taking prescription opioids for years. A mate gave me a few joints of Afghani Kush and I was in tears as to the relief it gave me. Now thinking of growing a couple of plants in garage but honestly have next to no $ to spend due to raising 2 kids on disability Pension so how can I do it super cheap? Outdoors is not possible. Have 1 window that gets 2-3 hrs direct sunlights per day. Thanks in advance ✌️

Hey crew ! I usually trim off a lot of leaves before flipping lights or within the first few weeks but what’s people opinions on defoliation during late flower ? Does it help to swell buds with more access to light or do you think it only helps the more shaded /popcorn buds .? Second question I’ve heard fan leaves act like solar panels to help grow , is that more relevant in vegging stage and should all stay on or is it okay towards the end of flower to trim them to help fatten up popcorn buds that they are shading and leave sugar leaves on ? Hey crew So It’s my first attempt at scrogging,! I’ve only ever done the standard way with some lollipopping but always ended with a nice cola and smaller to popcorn buds down low on the plant so thought I’d try this way after some reading and research Brief description - 600w hps, 1.5mx1.5mx2m tent , in coco , drain to waste Well....
