Im just wondering if any one can give me some detailed info on the correct method of tipping my plants. What does tipping achieve and how is it done.Im growing outdoors in reasonable size pots on the gold coast... And any ideas on some good shit mulch and fertiliser....Thanks for everyones input ....What a sik ass site,wish i had this source years ago..CHEERS...

Hi everyone I was reading some old posts and saw that Sukonmi Skunk recommended taking the crowns from the plants and let under growth come through for the next 1-3 weeks. What I was wondering is should I take the crowns at 8 weeks and let the rest go longer or take them at say 6 weeks and let the rest go to 8 or 9 weeks Any thought appreciated auusie1

Ive tried the black rope style bubblers and the stones is there anything better to use... Something that wont corrode block or fall to bits PLS Failling to find a solution i might just have to make my own any ideas there??

The process is simple, and is adapted from a standard horticutlural technique known as "girdling" a plant. To girdle a plant, wait until it is in flower, but before it has started to produce the red hairs? characteristic of full maturity. Girdling works much better with Sativa plants than with Indica, because the blooming prattern of Sativa is continuous, whereas Indica tends to bloom in successive flushes. Using a very sharp, clean blade, simply cut in a full ring around the plants main stem about 12" above ground level. Make this cut a shallow one, severing just the out 1/8" or so of the plant stem. hey guys..just a quickie...when ya crackin seeds in a glass of water, how long do ya leave tha seeds in there after they crack....if ya can leave them in there for too long, what do ya look out for...cheers

I was going to do a scrog but am trying this instead . Will it increase my yield by letting light to the lower buds? I cloned 24 plants about 7 weeks ago. I only needed 12, But I cloned 24. I was going to pick the best 12 and ditch the worst 12. Problem is they all turned out GREAT!. I couldn't bring myself to destroy any of them, so I veged all 24. Now that they're 20" tall I'm going to put 12 into the flowering room. Is there someway I can keep the secong lot of 12 at 20" for the next 8 weeks, so I can flower them next?. For example, If they grow 3"/week, can I just keep trimming them back 3" each week?. I think this is called tipping. Where you cut one growing tip and it bevomes 2. Is there a limit to how often I can do this?. How much can I trim each time?. If the plants veg fr…

Hi peepz. I've got 2 3x2m rooms that I will be flowering in (DWC) and was wondering if there's any point in growing SCROG style, or if trees will be just as productive? There's about 7 foot to the ceiling, so height isn't too much of an issue. Lights will be horizontally mounted, 2400W per room, and was hoping for 12 plants per room. Does this sound about right, or am I cramping them a bit much? Strain will be Celtic Stone, if that helps. If I was to scrog, it would be like the tutorial with a screen integrated into each bucket, so it wouldn't be too much trouble moving plants to get to each one... What do you guys think?
