Hi all, As the start of the Outdoor season is upon us and many of us start making plans for the coming year, I thought I'd hopefully try and help some out with a few methods of Watering for the Guerilla Grower that I have come across in the past couple of years. Often after deciding on your soil recipe and getting the actual soil in to your plot (that sounds a lot easier than it is), your next big challenge is figuring out how your going to water this thirsty lady, which is very much the make or break factor in a successful grow. Many resort to simple techniques and somewhat pray that mother nature helps them out along the way why others go to some what elaborate lengt…

G'day ozstoners! So I am running a few things outside just below the tropic of Capricorn this season, ideally I would like to go and check on them mid Jan or males, but due to being out of the country and looks like I won't be back until mid feb at the latest, I'm thinking the males would have already done there thing I'm thinking I might get a seeded crop? Just would like some second opinions.

Hey all, so as some of you alreasy know, i started my first grow this season ... i have decided to make a grow diary... im going to put pictures from the day it started until now ... hope you all enjoy... My plants were germinated in water and then planted into 7-8L pots, using a mix of a SHITTY $3, 25L bag of soil... because of such low quality, i mixed through some blood and bone and watered in some seasol seaweed concentrate... until the babys were about 30cm tall there watering involved 9L water split between them both with seasol seaweed concentrate and about 1-2 table spoons of blood n bone in the water, this all seemed to do the trick... this was the ea…

Things have not gone well and here I am in December with nothing to plant. I have just put some new seed in today and have my fingers crossed that they will come up. My question is how late can I plant and still get some good results? Hopefully, I would like to end up with a nice quantity of smoko and some seed to carry on, so how late can I start to achieve this. I have had a multitude of problems this year such as growing medium (two sheets of kitchen towel paper) drying out and possibly killing shooting seeds, seedlings being eaten, seeds that refused to strike.etc etc. Oh yea, I plan to grow outdoors for holistic reasons.

Hi all, I'm only just getting interested in growing this amazing plant so forgive me if this sounds insane has anyone ever just got a bunch of seed, picked a suitable bush location and planted a huge area at a very big spacing between plants....then come back in 1 or 2.....even 4 seasons and see what landraces have populated the area. i know the seed is expensive but i think it would be very interesting to see what mother nature comes up with. it would be great to have a source of wild stock to dip into in the future. love to hear your thoughts. ssdd

Didnt think id get a chance to grow this year however managed to snag a free plant from a mate whose been growing up the side of his house for last month or so and because of a new room mate had to get rid of it. The plant doesnt look like it was getting heaps of sun and hasn't really branched out much only grown upwards. I repotted it into a slightly bigger pot as the old one was pretty tiny and got some nutrients to give it while its still in veg to give it a boost. Just thought id post up some pics of it and see what everyone thinks, any input as what to do from here would be greatly appreciated. http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/ss286/cl_sullivan92/DSC_0004.jpg P…

Hi Guys Noob alert here so go easy. I got a couple of outdoor plants (1.5 months old) in greenhouses and thinking of taking some clones but dont have the prop lights, can you leave the clones outside in part/shady in a small greenhouse? or is perth weather atm too harsh and let them go as is? Cheers

Recently on my travels one of my family bought back these deer cameras from the gun shop, they are self contained and motion sensitive so if someone walks past it takes pics day or night, they come in camo and strap to trees or whatever you like and have SD card that pops out and goes straight into laptop, They do the job and may aid any fellow farmers in a few things. I spend alot of time in the bush and a tip I couldnt stress enough is dont leave markers to your plot, even little things like a stick leaning on a fence stand out, or rocks stacked on top of each other. there's lots of wildlife outhere and its best to use the same trails that the roo's, emu's leave through…
