Gday all, Since joining up I have found you all extremely helpful and even if not that helpful I enjoy listening to your stories and opinions. Growing by a river has been briefly discussed in another one of my recent threads however I would love you to share any experiences or knowledge you have with this method. I could ask plenty of questions specific to my area but as there isn't much info on this method of growing ill leave it open to ANY sort of discussion involving growing near a water source with the intention of not needing to water your plants. Your input will be valuable to anyone interested in this method so lets see if we can get a good discussion goin…

Hello all, I am wanting some advice from fellow Aussies on a suitable seed to choose. No doubt the workers in the shops in Amsterdam etc know their stuff but you just cant beat local knowledge. I want to buy feminised seeds to grow on a riverbank in SW QLD. so simply I want seeds/strain that is: 1. Suitable for warm weather sometimes reaching 40 degrees 2. Suitable to grow on river bank with minimal care 3. LARGE growing plant 4. Tight, compact buds 5. Feminised Seeds. 6. Relatively fast yield I know how complex growing can be but I wish to keep it relatively simple. Any advice would be greatly appreciated and if you could point me in the right direction of where to g…

Hi there guys. (SWIM is in south east QLD coastal area) SWIM has 2 sativa dom plants, outdoors growing in organic soil and being fed orgainc tomato fertalizer once a week. These plants were planted from seed in the first week of december and were sexed at about 8 weeks of age, then just left outside in the lovely sunshine to so their thing. Being sativa dom obviously they are slower to flower and are still going, but the problem I have is this, One of the plants buds are looking pretty nice with large buds starting to fill out and become weighty, and at about 40-50% brown hairs and trics just starting to go from clear to milky from what I can see, i'm thinking a…

Hi guys I just have one quick question to ask the users out there! I have a couple of plants that are indica dom, inside under 20/4 flour lights in veg stage. My question is, In south east qld, what is the latest I will be able to put these outdoors to flower? Obviously I want to leave them vegging for as long as possible before I put them outside to flower out, but do not want to put them out too late as to miss the winter harvest! I was hoping veg them for another 8 weeks, then put them ouside through the rest of winter to flower out naturally, will this work? Thanks in advance!

Haven't been here in some time! nice to see the forums still pumping. Did a grow this year, thought I would just share the end result. Did 3 plants, blueberry is still growing so no photos of her but have harvested Vanilla Kush from barneys, and Frisian Dew from dutch passion. I was fortunate enough to get the purple pheno! was very stoked about that. Anyway, all outdoor organic just grown with some pre fertilised garden soil (did a bit in winter) with seasol and gogo juice, nothing else. They are all still curing at the moment but already are awesome smoke. A mate of mine made some labels for whatever reason, turned out to be pretty nice colour ways and what not, anyway …

First Grow. Wish me luck. Not sure how big it will grow but it will be interesting. Need to find a spot on the outskirts of sydney. Had a taste of some crazy strains the last few weeks. Now I know what I am missing, just need more of it now

Evening stoners. A put up a diary every year for the last 5, Thought I would throw this up even though its one plant this year. I started with 5 plants. One died, 3 were males and here Im left with this only girl. Oh well thats how it is sometimes right? Its the mazar strain from dutch passion. Showing a good phenotype. Might be needed a transplant soon from the 5litre pot. Medium is coco/perlite. Feeding with canna nutes at a steady ph 5.8. Havent tried mazar myself but from some reviews it seems to be good smoke. Having trouble smoking sativas these days with anxiety so ill let this one flower a bit longer too for a more heavy hitter. Enjoy... Smoky

Hey all I thought I would share my first outdoor grow started back I'm sep/oct started from bagseed. Soil/perlite Soil ph 6.5 Feeding 17.5 ; 9.c2 ; 26.5 This is the first time using lst method which is acually a lot easier than I thought and not sure why I hadn't previously done it. Marijuana plants sure are hardy little plants. First one is 3 months old in 10 gal pot and have two 2 month old plants in 5 gal pots. Had a bout of bug problems which neem oil is helping keep it under wraps. Also had a problem with birds eating the bud sites which some netting seems to be doing its job. All this with the temprature fluctuations we have been having have made it all the m…

Hey all, Just a couple of pics of my outdoor run this year. 10 Ingrid clones. I'm going to try to get them into flower earlier this year, about mid Jan if possible. I'll make up a black hood soon as i know how high they are going to get then it'll be a case of hood on 8pm, hood off 8am thru to probably mid to late febuary. They will be planted in another week or 2, for now they can stay as they are in the bush. I wanted to get them off the veranda, tomorrow i'll get some clear tree bags to keep them a little warmer hopefully. Last year i tried out some veggie bags which didn't do any better than being in the ground except that come Autum i was able to move them indoors…

Hi guys Apologies for the stupid title to this post but wasn't sure how to word the question succinctly. Basically I am growing one plant in my suburban backyard and my neighbours are close. When my baby flowers I am worried it might smell a bit and am thinking I might move it to a spot in my yard a bit further from the neighbours place. However the spot I have picked out will maybe get an hour or two of direct sunlight a day. Obviously this isn't good, so my question is more how bad is it? Cheers legends.
