Hey - I'm sorry I haven't worked out how /where to post this question, so I've had to stick it here! OK...Has anyone used the alternative CO2 systems for a grow tent? I have two tents; 1.2 x 1.2. &. 1.95 x 1.95. I'm looking at the CO2 Pads, MyCO2 boxes, the bottles & their refills and whatever else. I'm trying to avoid having to do the old style gas canisters & regulators. Is it possible to use an alternative or are they not effective enough? I'd LOVE to hear about any experiences with them!!

Just got back from holiday & my girls are looking good & smelling great. Want to know when I should be harvesting them. They were germinated early Nov & started to bud early Jan, they are little due to small pot & lack of nutrients early on. Some of the hairs have gone orange but others are white. They have not had any nutrients for nearly 4 weeks as I was away on holiday and have just got by on the amount of rain we have had. 1 of them is looking really nice, firm bud & looks about ready to harvest to me (grey crate), the other (green crate) is looking good but not firming up/filling out like the other one but bud has a great purple colour. Hello all, I'm a complete newbie bot to this site and the world of cultivation. I've been avidly reading lots of posts on this stite and have found some great info, mind you sometimes i end up more confused than when I started. laugh Ive only ever grown one plant .... I had three seeds (I have no idea what they were, a friend gave them to me), anyway two germinated then one died, and the final one i just transplanted into the back yard and lo and behold it grew. Hi, i use tank water and due to me looking sus sneaking water in with containers at night I thought I should use a hose to be more stealthy. The hose gave the water a noticeable rubber smell so i gave it a miss. It isn't ancient and is a decent brand. Is it, first a problem, and if so is there a hose better suited? Harvested my first grow about a week ago. 2 autoflowers at about 10 wks old. Put the buds into jars this morning to start curing. Filled up 3 x 1 litre jars about 5/6 full each with a hygrometer. The humidity is sneaking up to around 68% humidity. I've been checking on them every couple of hrs or so and taking the lids off for 15-20 mins or so. My plan was to keep burping till humidity is low 60s then put the 62% bovedas in to maintain this humidity. Does this sound like a decent plan? Worried about mold. Cheers

At some stage I will be confronted with having to trim my first crop and already its not something I am looking forward to in part due to it being tedious and time consuming but primarily because my hands are not real good and its going to be a difficult task that will probably take literally forever. I was contemplating trying to get one of those electric trimmers I saw on ebay, has any one used one and do they do a good job or not?

Hi guys, I am sure this one will be fine in the end but I am just being a bit paranoid. Got a shipment coming in from China for a small grow tent, inline fan, silenced duct, smart pots, and hangers. That's all -- no soil, no seeds, no glass. It came in yesterday (estimated delivery was before 6pm today) and went into customs check this morning -- "Held awaiting government agency clearance". Then a bit later changed to "Shipment now at depot closest to delivery address. I called up TNT and they said its still in customs going for quarantine checks. I thought thats a bit odd since they said its in depot but who knows. She read "grow tent" and asked me if its soil, etc. …

I literally can't catch a fucking break my plant is in its 9th week of flowering and still has till the end of April before it's ready for harvest. I go out this morning and every cola has basically been supercropped under their own weight. I can't take this crap I'm paranoid about whether or not it'll even make it through till harvest or just end up sun drying from not getting enough fluid.

I think I will do the cheesecloth method where you wrap the seed up in damp cheesecloth and leave it in a air-tight container for a few days. Appreciate any info. Cheera

Hi all Just wondering how others prepare and ship their clones around the place. Has anyone used those clone shippers that are sold in the OS store? Looks like a good reusable option for trading genetics. I know this can be a touchy subject so I understand if no one wants to talk about the packaging, but how do you prepare them to give them the best possible chance of surviving being kicked around in the post? Hi guys and gals. One month old Skywalker Kush from reserva. H and g nutes, coco with mykos. 315w hi par. Vertical Philips 3000k. 8l rhizo pot potted up from 3.5l and was happy for first 2 days. Had just got over a bit of nute burn. What is the browning of bottom leaves at this stage likely to be? Lack of light? Cleaned tent today so few plants got knocked so not worried about the orientation of stems. Centre leaves pointing straight up. Leaf curling also. On 18\6. Light on 22-30c.
