g-day , got my self a 400w sunmaster warm delux mh grow lamp yesterday and on the box it mentions the burning position , which is horizontal my question is , can i use a small china mans hat and use the bulb vertically ? any advice would be great . cheers

my clones have been in my "aero" cloner for about a week now, and only one of them has sprouted some roots. some have started to wilt, and I'm giving them tough love at this stage, hoping that no misting will make them root faster. anyway, what I am most concerned about is some sort of growth/buildup thats appearing on the lower stems. On some stems its white, on others it green. Somehow I think its not root bumps. below is a pic. Do I have a problem here?

well, it was a sad day in denske land about 2 weeks ago,, i decided i cant keep my grow, i weighed it all up, an i cant really put the time into a seriuos effort at growing, ayleast not indoors, i need to be able to put them outside in some nice sun an pretty much leave them, just the occasional water an feed mission to them, i have got way too much work on here, an my carear comes way before my hydro , so i ripped about my plants ,packed my light back into the box, a threw my piping out, can always buy that shit again,, but when i get my longservice leave, { in about 9mnth} i might have time to throw it all together,, it kinda sucked as i picked about 2ounces of leaf an…

One of the nice things about vapourisers is that you don't need to cure flowers before you can use them. Lately I've been taking a few flowers from some SPC Thai I'm growing outdoors and finding seeds within them. More precisely ONE seed per bud. What's going on here ? I thought that there needed to me males/pollen around for seeds to develop. Are these seeds the blueprint that will be duplicated when the pollen appears or is it some quirk of the plant. All plants are female (no hermies either). I'm curious to know if these seeds are useable or are, I don't know, unfertislised or something. Any experts out there? Many thanks.

Late 2001 SPC sent me some complementary seeds to try out, Headstone and B’shen, as it was coming up to outdoor season and having had an excellent crop the previous year I plated them in the stealth garden. They survived an attack from some now deceased rabbits but then we copped a disastrous two week long cold snap over that Christmas, we had snow on the local mountains, and every single female went hermie on me, I had to pull the hydro out of mothballs. Hello Guys If you let your seedling soak up the sun and then afterwards place them under fluoro's.. will this risk the plant turning hermie? i've read @ OG it can I'll train them early on more fluoro hours to sun.. then after every 2 days, i'll let the plant have more sun(hrs). Sound good? any input would be nice

i cant seem to get my plants cranking, i mean some are kinda yellow an not grow big are still small, with a couple of small leaf sets, a couple are growing bigger an seem to be fine, i got a couple of older plants in the cupborad too an they were going ok, but now ones leafs are rolling up,not dying an curling but the jaggered sides of the leaves are raising up an curling, its hard to expalin but it looks weird, one or two of my younger plants are doing this too,, i looked at a nutreint troulbe webpage an it kinda looks like a (mg) problem?, any tips on fixing, and any tips on running the right ph, i think im running my nutes at about 5.9,6.0,6.1 its hard to tell,and my p…

Just wanted to know,if growing in a Medium like perlite do i need a pot that has no holes?.Or can i use any pots?. I am thinking of using a medium and having the plants pots in a saucer of water.I will be watering everyday,but just thought that having them sitting in water can't be bad,can it?. Thanks

Hi, While out google searching i came across a site that had pics of peoples buds that they grew.I came across one photo that had the biggest BUD i have ever seen,It must be around 4ft at least.It is supposed to be Sweet Tooth#3.The thing i want to know is how the hell do you manage to get a bud that big?.I am unsure about copyright so i will not put the picture up,but let me know and i will send it to you. gotta quick question,, it seems as though i have hit the pause button my plants, some are growing some dont seem to be doing much , they are still pretty young so im not expecting buds yet, but some have barely got 2 sets of leaves, a couple are doing there thing with a few leaves which are nice an green, but the others i dunno, also i threw 2 plants i already had, in their, ok listen to this, a few months back i had some plants growing,it wasnt seriuos i hadnt grown anything for a while an was keen on the day,after 2mths then they all decided to basicly shit them selves, i had to crops an this happened to both, the first one im sure i fucked them with slow release fertil…
