Just popped in to share this: We had this real pretty friend of GF's down over xmas and she grows out door up north. She said she puts used coffe grinds in the bottom of her pots and holes to stop rootrot. I'd never heard of it, but I told stinky pete and he said "yeah, that works good in pots" so there ya go. I dunno if it works, just passin it on. She's grown a lot of pot though. Hmmm, and hot too. God bless nature. V

well, as some of you may or may not know, i posted in the seeds forum looking for a site with free seeds.... and so today i was walking along a track on the hill behind my house when i come across a plastic bag. insode the bag is a half dead plant!!!! it has onlly about 6 leaves on it, with 3 growing tips of lush green, and a few dead yellow leaves on the bottom, so i scooped it up, took it home, and planted it in the plot i was to use for the seeds. so hopefully it makes some sort of recovery and produces some nice bud...

This has always worked for me, so maybe you'ld like to try it. First, make a pendulum. You can use a ring on a chain, a necklace or even a peg on a piece of string. Next, determine you indicators. Hold the pendulum in the right or left hand so that it dangles freely. Say out loud,"show me female". The pendulum will either swing backward and foward or around in a circle. This will be your female indicator. Then, say out loud, "show me male". The pendulum should indicate the opposite for what you received for "female". This is the male indicator. Practise a few times and then try it on a seed. Receive your answer and plant your seed. Test this if you like and let me…

This is my first post and my first grow. I have just seen something which I have not read about anywhere else. Not that I am well read or anything. I have two older female plants (midgets - but thats another story) - started outdoors in Sept 03 and put into 12/12 (on their own in a cupboard for dark cycle and outside for light cycle) about 16 days ago. They have started flowering nicely -will try to post some pics later. What is really interesting is that I have started a few seedlings about a month ago (that have not been in 12/12 and have been receiving full sun all day long). Two of these smaller plants (about 18 cm high) have started producing male flowers without be…

Hey all, I just thought id bring this up, as i think its important. Im a very strong believer in karma and respect for parents, elders etc. So i totally discounted growing at my house. Then with my sativas in danger when they start flowering i bit the bullet and decided to talk to my mum about the idea of growing at my house. And believe me im on the bottom end of the scale, with very anti-drug parents, and they went right off when they found bongs and mull in my room on a few occasions. But now theyve accepted the fact i occasionally smoke, but know im not out of control. So basically i said to my mum, "look im going to be brutally honest here, you know i smoke with …

Joy. After 18 weeks and close to two thousand dollars investment I did it. I luckily considering the problems I encountered pulled close to nine ounces after drying. See? You kids grow one plant in the garage and take photo's of rubbish. I would love to photo the leaves on my latest SOG as they are the biggest I have ever seen. Like 20 centimenters long and 4 centimeter wide each of the five fingers. It has trippled (more even) over the last two weeks on Coco Canna and Canna Zym and Bio-Bugs with Evolution Solution's Leaf Feed. It frustrates me to see photo's of leafy heads (all of thirty grams! Wow not) almost mature male flowers (how could you leave it that long? Males…

Hey all, A mate of mine had two 5 foot sativa females we were growing at his place ( different plants to my plant in the grow thread ), but he has since moved house so they are totally in my care. I transplanted them straight into the ground with some of their original soil, as they were grown totally natural from seed. And 12 hours later all leaves and supple branches are drooping towards the ground. Since i discovered this, ive topped their holes up with good potting soil, stamped it down nice and hard and gave them a pretty big water. My question is that i think the drooping must be transplant shock, from what i described can anyone verify this ? Ive never had to…
