Has anyone here ever used a hydroponic grow chamber like the one on this site?http://www.medigrow.co.uk/ if so could you give me a little info on how good it is, and if it is worth the money, etc. Also could someone please explain the advantages and disadvantages of using hydroponics as opposed to regular soil growing? Images of dry buds after first harvest, no idea on weight but there is a fair bit there, I did first harvest 26/12/02 chopped all the tops off as they were ready and have given the rest of the plant a little longer to finish will rip em out after another 2 days darkness (day after tomorrow) The smoke has quite has a unique taste to it like stuff we used to get years and years ago, not as harsh as expected smoking in joints, quite strong couch lock, not much chance of doing much after a smoke. when chopping up the buds are extremely sticky, cant wait to taste this after its had time to cure, heaps of trimmings to make oil with (would make bubble hash but dont have access t…

It's been 8 weeks now since I ventured into the world of hydro... I got a few emails from people here who wanted to see my 240 gallon setup. So here are some pics, they're not great but I haven't rtfm on my new camera yet. I'm open (and desire) your comments and suggestions to make anything better. I started out with quartz-halogen shop lights (900 watts total), but just yesterday received my 1000 watt HID and HPS lights (now pictured) I got them through Access Discounts, $282 (U.S.) for a dual ballast, swichable, reflector hood and one each of the lamps. one of the most common reasons for ppl getting busted in Holland for growing (hehe,..yes, they bust ya here too) is becouse of smell leaking out the growroom! there's allways some one who's calling the cops,...even these sweet neigbours of yours, happenes a lot. Anywayzz,..there's an easy way to make sure there's no smell leaking out of your grow, or dry room (drying gives the most odeur/smell) here it is : first make sure your growroom is airtight. that's nearly impossible to do but try to secure the biggest airholes. when that's done what you need to do is make sure you have a more powerfull fan at the outletair of your growroom than on the inlet-fresh-air fan! wh…

ANother thing I forgot to ask is when do I start flushing Do i start at day 31 flowering? Or am I better off waiting for a certain amount of pistils to go brown. How do you guys decide when to start flushing? Cheers

i have a few plants outside and one of which would prove to be an excellent mother. i'm planning my hydro grow but only planning as single grow room, with seperate clone/seedling facilities. my question is would having an outdoor mother be as effective as an indoor mother to avoid seperate light cycles etc. the plant is nice fat and healthy and would love the full 18 hours of light a day i'm guessing. thoughts and suggestions ?

HI fellow members,through various experimentations with various mediums(expanded clay,vermulite,perlite) and having to feed them appropriatley as they are nutrient poor mixes and need constant nutrient enrichment,Ie Reservoir,autopot,flood and drain.I have found Ed Rosenthals tried and true formula of hands on gardening works best,ie hand watering with nutrients.The mix I have found best is 50%perlite/ver and 50% potting mix in 150mm pots with drainholes that each sit in a individual saucer for water run off and additional feeds during hours unattended.

Sup ppls first off i wanna say Merry xmas to all my new fellow ganja friends.. on this web site.. and not i have questions on my plant.. ive just turned my lights to 12/12 and ive noticed little pistals all ready showing.. this is the 2nd week on flowering and them pisltals are going brown already like they are old.. is this a problem or am i stressing for no reason.. pls note this is not all over the plants just on a few stems.. much respect Ele
