whats the biggest,baddest freak plant you've ever grown?j.what strain was it and how much did you get? just wondering wade

its cheech#1 a new member just wanting 2 say hello 2 everone,its a cool site for growers etc,if taking plants outdoor after growing indoors for 4-6 weeks,under 24hrs lighting will they turn 2 flower straight away?growing in australia so they shouldnt flower until autum should they?or what do youse think will happen,and if using clones then grow them together outdoors will any of them turn male/hermophadite ?thanks,cheech

Greetings fellow Ozstonerz, Almost ready for my first indoor grow after spending a season or two outdoors. Obviously playing mother nature this time around is going to require a little more effort and one thing I want to remove the guesswork from is feeding my ladies. Hey everyone, I was just wanting to know how everyone uses Superthrive? I have a bottle here and I got some mix at 1ml/4L. I gave my clones a light spray with it before.... Only used like 100-200ml of the 4L Just wondering if I can keep spraying my clones with it til they root?? ATM they are only like 50% wet if I just spray them once or twice every few hours I won't burn them will I? Every spray has less then 10mL. I usually just do a few sprays above so it blows all over the clones (When im misting them with water). This way it always stays around 50% moist which is the best isn't it? Not to wet not to dry? One of the buds on my ww @ 59 days - 11 to go I've really noticed the crystals comin out in the last day or 2. It's been in the dark since last week. I'm glad I didn't get impatient and pull it at 56 days.

hey everyone, it has just been put to my attention, by the missus, that i spend too much time with me girls. i can't help it i told her .' i've gotta keep an eye on em' you know for hermies and bugs and stuff.'but in reality i think i'm just hooked on growin.i can find myself at times going over each plant for 15 to 20 mins .in the end i would probably spend a good 2 to 3 hrs a day with them.(not counting watering time) what do you think. do i have a problem? is there any hope for an aging hippy.or should i just not give a shit and just go and have another couple of pipes! does anyone else think about their babies 24/7? most night i even hav…

OK guys and gals, Ive finally brought my own house, so I need to set up something more permanant and was thinking of using my double wardrobe, It has a power point inside the wardrobe but its mounted high so humidity etc isnt an issue, Iam thinking that I want to try my hand at growing in Coco, and my local store has $5-00 slabs of coco, thaty look like those sealed slabs of rockwool, A/ is Coco slabs ok for MJ??? b/ can I use my normal hydro nutes or do I have to buy those coco nutes?? hydro shop said it was fine to use whatever I currently use. c/ the closet has sliding doors at the moment, should I hang hindge doors instead? d/ Can I use a 1000m2 per hr hydr…

Hi all. Great site! I'm an ex-Pom. Been here in the land of Oz many years. In the U.K. I have heard of people grafting a hop vine to the Marijuana plant. The hop vine will grow looking like a normal hop, but still will have as much THC as the weed it was grafted to. Tricky for the Cops to detect. Apparently it tastes like hops to smoke, but it will get you just as stoned as weed. Also good for brewing Cannabeer. Anyone heard of this? Any tips? Cheers All

The night before I took my last bunch of cuts I had this little pot half full of potting mix and perlite that I'd pulled a cpasicum seedling from. So I cut a little branch off my mum plant, using only blunt dirty scissors, then I cut the bottom off on an angle, holding it in the air, not under water. I shoved it in the pot and covered it with glad wrap. I poked 6 holes in the top with a poker and put it in a saucer of tap water on the window sill. 3 weeks later it has heaps more growth than my scientificly cloned cuttings, has a massive root system for the amount of time and it never even looked like it was going to go the tiniest bit yellow. Glad i didnt run a scrog journal on this one, tried a couple of different tactics on this run, first was to train the branching without tying the plant to the screen. This would of worked ok with the right strain, the one i used though likes to stretch her legs, not good. Second tactic/mistake was to let the clones stretch above the screen for the last week of stretch, unfortunately i under estimated the time left and stretch continued for about 5 days too many, this meant the girls needed an impromptu hair cut . Still looks like i may get around 6oz from this run so i'm not complaining...........

I've been germinatin seeds for a long time, and over that time I've had like 2 not germinate. I usually presoak then into rockwool cubes. I use distilled water, keep em warm etc. I've never had a problem till - Recently I got some Sensi NL, and went about germing them. Out of 10 I had 2 make it. A couple didn't crack but the others were all the same. They had a little tap root coming out, but it had gone brown and they died. One of them even cracked in the soak and had a tap root after a bout 6 hours, but after it went into the block - nothing. G'day all .. I've been snipping branches from a well established outdoor plant (grew throo' Winter) and trying to get them to root. I read an article on the Overgrow FAQ years ago that advocated water cloning. I'm not having much luck with it. Can anyone recommend simple ways to get cuttings to shoot that doesn't require aftificial light, rockwool and so on. I can propogate basil just by plonking it in a glass on my kitchen bench - why is cannabis harder ? Or am I missing something obvious ? I've seen rooting hormones at the local hardware - how do these work ? Any help appreciated. Thanks.
