here is a good artice on homemade fish emulsion:- homemade Fish/Seaweed Emulsion By Pepperpot WHY FISH AND SEAWEED PRODUCTS? As you may know fish emulsion, fish meal, seaweed/kelp meal, and liquid seaweed/kelp are some of the most powerful natural fertilizers and soil amendments in the world. NOTE: For those organic gardeners who prefer vegetarian soil amendments, you can skip the fishy ingredients, it's not necessary. There is plenty of NPK in alfalfa meal and other grains that you can use. Most commercial fish emulsions are rated NPK = 5-1-1. Most commercial liquid seaweed sprays are rated NPK = 0-0-1. Even though these NPK ratings to a novice may see…

I was reading through erowid and found this extract, I'm not interested in doing it but I just thought it could be interesting to read "Hops are propagated worldwide by rhizomes, but are rarely available to the general public as a result of the U.S. federal government's attempts to stop their possible abuse as material grafted onto marijuana stocks. However, they are still available from Wine and the People (see Sources). Propagating hops by rhizomes has the advantage over seeds in that they will sprout sooner after planting if the weather is warm. However, they have serious disadvantages. Propagation by cuttings for too long limits the genetic bank of the plant. Thu…

I'm interested in hearing propogation methods of guerilla growers. I need to work out what way I am going to start my seedlings so it will be easier to carry to my site (out bush). I'm thinking that I will use large trays filled with potting mix and vermiculite. Do you think the roots would get too crowded planting them all together in a tray(temporary, maybe three weeks before I plant)? Would I be better off growing in jiffy cubes? I wont use rockwool as It is too expensive:whistling

you have probably heard of people having grown dwarf cannabis, well heres a simple technique to dwarf your plants. get an old ice cream container and cut it down untill its about an inch deep fill with soil plant your seed's 1cm down when they sprout the tap root hits the bottom of the ice cream bucket and stunts the plants growth. You leave it in the container for a few weeks, by the time there are a few sets youll notice its throwing out sets of leaves no bigger than a 20 cent peice then transplant into bigger pots the plant will then continue to grow dwarfed ive seen plants grown this way that are barely a foot tall with 30 sets of leave's with hands no bigger than a …
