just a quick question people when germinating seeds the seed starts to sprout, which side of the seed do i plant facing down in the soil, the part that is sprouting or the other side? thanks

im just wondering how long do plants normally take to grow around this time of year (im from melbourne) after they have been germinated and then planted in the soil for outdoor growing?

Hi all. I bought a new timer today. Put in my room and lights were spose ot go off at 8pm but when i got home at 11pm they were still on. What would that likely do to my flowering cycle? om

My plant has not grown an inch in the past three days. What could be the problem?

Hi everyone, I have a few questions if someone doesn't mind helping me out I am wondering is there a point in having a resorvoir in DWC if I have 3 x 20/25L bubbler buckets? It's alot of water to mix up and I don't understand how all that water is even needed because the plants won't be fully grown for a while and surely won't drink that much water? (I've never grown before tho) Please let me know about resorvoirs and if I should have one. Also should I put a small water pump in the resorvoir to circulate the water? How does the water from the resorvoir get circulated around the buckets? or isn't that the purpose? Also should I replace the water every 2 week…

First of all, this is not for marijuana so much as just a general 'hypothetical application' of a hydroponic setup, using beans as an example plant. The idea is to have it in a confined space, with each layer [light rack, water tray, tank] on separate mountings so I can slide them out for easy access and maintenance. Hi everyone I want to grow 4 plants in around a 60L or 80L tub (what do you guys recommend?) and am wondering what should I do. hey there as you may or may not know i have a wardrobe grow happening in my garage and the temps come winter time are starting to get fairly low now i installed a thermometer yesterday and the max temp i got was 24c that was at the tops of the plants and the lowest i got was 5c this was obviously at night and that wasn't even a really cold night (no ice on my car today ) anyway in have changed me lights to go on at night to see how that goes temp wise im just wondering what you guys try and keep ya temps at????? thanks heaps
