General Cultivation Q&A

Hey all, Just grew my first plant and now have a few questions. I grew it outdoors, in a pot. As it was planted towards the end of summer, didn't get very long to veg before it started flowering. Its only about 30cm tall. There are a few others planted at the same time (i threw a bunch of old seed in the pot just to see if they would grow) but they are between 15-20 cm only.. Seems to have turned out okay, it was just sitting in the garden with some other herbs and didn't get any special care. What I am wondering is if there is any way to clone these ones, now that they have already started flowering and there aren't really any leafy branches out on such a small pla…

Havn't got the $$$ for a double heat mat, but have waaay too many clones for the old single to deal with , so... came up with this idea... Whats do ya's think? will it work? anyone tried it? major oversights? ???? I have everything to make it except the slotted tray (should have got one with the dome ) THC PS. oh and lighting will be from 2x 18w fluro's

Hi I bought "cal Max" today for a suspected calcium deficiency and when I got home I realised It also has added nitrogen NPK 2-0-0. This shits me cause I don't want to mess with my NPK ratios. The other product "Cal Mag Plus" has it also. Why do they have to add nitrogen? Just wondering if there are any alternative products. Thanks

I'm planning to try grow a few plants along near where I live. I live in a sorta city area though so bush areas are out of the question. It's just for shits and giggles to see if they'll actually grow. The spot will most likely be along a train line or other spots that are "in plain sight" so to speak, but where people don't actually walk or look to hard at. I plan to put it in a camo'd pot 3/4th the way into the ground hidden away from sight and inbetween other bushes and plants. I'll go back to the spot when ever I need to and give it a bit of TLC, trim, maybe some spray, etc. (in the wee hours of the morning or late late at night obviously) Anyway, when I go scout…

i live in perth and was wanting to try some bat guano on my plants but cant find any can any ome help me out where to find any

ok.... right now im not using a gallon of water at each watering, but all nutes and such call for an x amount of nutes per gallon of water. a couple questions to illustrate my ignorance. 1. if i mix up a gallon, can i keep what i dont use for the next couple feedings? 2. am i limiting the nutes if i dont use the per gallon system? 3. i SUCK at math and fractions and what not, what measuring system will be easiest and most accurate so im not over/under nuting? 4. anything i can get to make it all easier?

Sorry if this is in the wrong section, just spent 5 minets looking at the menu and decident to post here, A friend is looking to get some new seeds soon, and hes looking for a good resinous indica. He's grown Bubblelicius a year or so ago, and that was great, but old, it won 2 awards back in 1998, damn, nearly a decade ;/. Anyway, thinking if that was so good, does anyone have any recommendations on some new good 100% or mostly indica strains. I hear maybe skywalker, but thats kinda old too i think, i donno. Any ideas? hey guys the title preety much says everything i just started my first batch of clones and was wondering is a heat pad really necessary i got one started the clones under them but thought it was a little to warm in there so i turned it off for a couple of days not noing weather it was the rong thing to do so i turned it back on today the clones are still fine they were not effected at all they are 9 days old and my clones are in rockwool on a bed of perlite in a propagation dome and it was the cubes that felt a little to warm to me not the air temp so if anyone nos what a good medium temp is it wood be great if they shared it with me coz iv looked on countless clone guide…

I guys I have a 4x12 space that I was initially gonna setup as a 2 part room. One side for a scrog grow and the other for a room to keep my clones and mothers. I have the entire space covered in poly already and I will be venting through the sewer and drawing cold air from the another air conditioned room. Im lighting the space with a 1000 watt hps for the flowering side and a 250 m/h for the moms with 8 t5s for any clones I have going. K now here is where the problem lies. I just moved into and got this space prepped for the girls now. And as you can see from the pics they are already a good 2 months old. I wanna try and insert these 2 white rhino girls into the sc…
