General Cultivation Q&A

i'll post some pics up later tonight, but i'm having a problem and it could be from a few possible causes, the first me not knowing what i'm doing. i've set up a recirculating system, the recirculating bit works fine but not the circulating bit. obviously pics will help but the system is fed by a 400 L p/h pump 13mm. it requires a head height of about 1m and i'm finding there isn't enough pressure in the hose (which has 1 x 13mm end plug either side of its 1.5m length). i have 5 x 4mm flex tube coming off the one piece of 13mm poly tube and the pressure in this tube isn't equal either. normally only 2 out of the 5 hoses will work, although if you manually syphon the wat…

Hi there everyone, just a couple of questions about starting up my first plants... First of all, I have 20 or more seeds all found in the bottom of baggies... should I have any problem with these age wise? Also, although the bud has been all the same strain, they seem to be about 50/50 small neat and green or big bulbous and dark brown-black, with just a few mid way between. Which ones will produce the better plant? Secondly, there are times when I can be away from home for up to 5 days, what is the best method for growing in these circumstances? Just got my aerogarden (still waiting on seeds) but I got my setup planned out, and I need some help for optimum growth. Goal: to produce 2 ounces of bud in 2 months using the aerogarden (between 2-4 female blueryders). Been awhile since i have been on...but im glad to be back I was reading an article the other day in my local community newspaper about this, 70 year old man in my community and.... had a crazy hydroponic setup pumping some massive plants... and the cops raid him and you know...done the usual, take the plants and equipment....but they also took his red cordial, because apparently on the last 7 days before he pulls them, he flushs them with rain water for 4 days and then for the remaining 3, he flushs them with red cordial and the smoke is more of a fruity taste....... im starting 4th week of flower.running nutes at 900.every plant is budding nice but should i bump up nutes for optimum budage,i heard dwc which is what im running =1/3 to 1/2 nutes wich would bring me to 1500-1800 in another setup.

So just after getting the heads up from you lot on COCO or what I was doing wrong, I'm now thinking about an NFT system for the following reasons I have grow cupboard 800x600x1800mm roughly. I could easily build a system out of containers/tubs etc from bunnings I wont have to pull any potted plants out of my cupboard to flush them in the sink when its time to flush anymore(pain in the arse) I wont have the sluggish rates of growth that I am experiencing with soil although COCO is much faster than soil, however again when I need to flush or upgrade to a bigger pot I wont have to do this with NFT just change the water. I wont have to buy any more bags of soil or C…

My plants are just shy of 2 weeks into flower and all have started to show sex. Just before I go and destroy (what I believe to be male) plants I wanted to get a second opinion so I can sleep better at night! I've noted next to each picture the sex that I think is showing but I'd appreciate everyone's opinion on the sex of each of these.... Plant 1 - Female (I think...)
