hey guys im new to growing and i want to grow some plants in pots outside just wondering what is the best time of year to start if any one can help that would be great cheers

of which side should the can fan silence go ? on the intake or exhaust side of the fan ? same for my carbon scrubber, should it go on intake or exhaust side of fan ? ta

Sup peeps Just a quick question for any old skool growers, Have read somewhere that strains start to deviate and lose potency after the 4th or so generation (Starting from a single mother) Can anyone help me out and shed some light on the subject as i'm prepping a SOG Grow and have 2 white russian mothers that all the clones will be coming from. Was planning on stripping them both and take 1 from each to re-grow? Needing some advice on the best way to go about it and to find out if there's any truth in this deviation theory?? Gooday Gents, well my babys are about 3 weeks into flowering and i just added bud xl to lastnights feed.They wake ina few hours and iwas wondering if i can/should add top booster to tonights feed along with some more bud xl? or should i wait a week like the feed chart says? Also, when i finally do use Top booster, should i use for more then 3-4 days or stick with recomended dosage? Also...is trimming in flower phase bad? my females are quite bushy and i think if i trimed alot of fan leaves it would shed some light on some new crowns. does this drain energy from the plant/alter where energy is directed? Hey, i was a bit bored so i thought id post my aquaponics build.. Im building an aquaponics set-up which is growing veggies and table fish symbiotically. Ebb and flow using two kiddy pool clams for grow beds (Dora Explorer brand works best ) filled with river pebbles. 2 types of bacteria colonise the pebbles and break down the high ammonia fish crap into nitrites then inrto nitates which the plants then use to flourish.. ok, 1 of my plants had purpleing stems, i checked ph and its at ph 6.5ish... i just have one of them moisture/soil ph testers, ya stick it in soil and allow 5-10 mins to calibrate, then it shows the correct reading. i took multiple readings in different spots throughout the patch. they all showed similar readings. now my guess is that its not a ph problem. its just a Mg deficiency ? ive given it a small dose of epsom salts and a foilar spray too. plants are in the ground. 11 in the patch. There is only 1 plants showning signs of the deficiency. thansk

gday guys wondering if you could assist please. say i have some old seeds, 1-2 years old!! would there be any chance to grow from this? worked fine before with fresh seeds but this is a different situation. any chance with these old seeds (5-10 of them) making something good? any tips? cheers!

Hi All, I'm a first time indoor grower and recently aquired a grow cabinet. All the wiring is professionally done, and there aren't any lights touching wood or plastic or anything like that. I'm super paranoid about fires though. At the moment i've got my lights set up so that they're off whilst i'm at work. But trying to sleep is a problem, as the extraction fan in the grow cabinet is damn noisy. Am i being paranoid? Seriously has anyone had issues with fires/heat in their cabinets? And if so, what are the signs to look out for and what steps do you take to avoid things like this. Regards,
