I have made a hood with two 250watt MH and one 600watt HPS also has 8 normal cfl fittings in it and i have a 100 mm vent on it will a 100mm inline fan do the trick to vent the heat or do i need more? the room will be about 2/1 meter fresh air coming in threw 100mm duct aswell with inline and normal fan in room?please help?

Hey All, I have a couple of questions for a small attempt I may have coming up. I'll number the questions to make replying easier (unless you wanna reply in essay be my guest ) 1. Whats the best way to hook up computer fans in a PC grow case? 2. I'm considering an LST grow considering the lack of space I have to work with at the moment, is there anywhere in Sydney that sells LST shelves i could fit in a PC box? Cheers.

Hi am sortin out my grow medium, wanted to go perlite n clayballs but very hard to get the clay where i am, have been suggested to use "volcanic rock" i think eg pumas stone or whatever..is this gunna be any good? eg ph's etc it should be near the same as clay for all other purposes i think. Or just go 100% perlite..sick of orederin from out of town 4 everything haha

hi all, every time i mix up the new nutes i got me ph reads 5.8 to 6.1, 6.1 aint to bad but im growing in soil so i want it up to 6.6 never had to ajust up before so just woundering wat i can use ?? i read a post awile ago an remember sumone saying you can use a coulp things around the house but carnt remenber wat they said i had a look around yesterdy but couldnt find nothing to help with up so thout id just arsk you guys n girls

I have often given my plants 72 hours of night before the switch to 12/12. Not always but mostly. Just looking at my grow data from 2003 (the last time I grew) it looks like they show sex from 5 to 8 days. OK.. including the long dark period it is 8 to 11 anyway but I think it does give them a little boost into flowering. I've been generating more data this time round and plugging it into my spreadsheet so I'll try to get as much info as possible this/next year. Also, I'm going to flush before and starve during the long dark spell this time, building up to full-strength flower nutes by about 200ppm/day (or two). I only just read about the starving part. Hi, I have problem with my two tomato plants, out of 4 seedlings those two always were slower with growth indoors, so i have put them outside and now one of them started to flower ( and its a female ). This plant is only 15 cm tall and it just started to grow healthy, and now im stuck and i dont know what to do. I was thinking if i could reverse it back to vegging abd chop it up and make clones out of it... I dont want it to flower now coz its gonna be waste of them nice looking female, what should i do with it?

hey guys not sure this is in the right spot so move me if you must. i noticed the two plants i have had from seedling to now are different to each other. one has red stems to the leaves and the other all green. is this common or do i have a different strain ? which one ?
