General Cultivation Q&A

Hello there, if one was to have a indoor hydro system , for instance in a metal cabinet then in ones closet just as an example, with two florescent lights and four LED light systems, plus pump, air pump, on an safety cutout power board , running of another power board and two timers, how safe is this ? I would be paranoid about leaving such a system running while at work. Is there things you can do to fail safe you system ? has anyone had any fires break out etc, also do you have to have you lights in sync with your time zone or can you have lights on of a night and off during day ? . Probably silly questions to you guys but I am new and thought you dudes might be able…

hey guys whats up hope everyone is having a good smoke... this is problly a stupid question but i was just wondering how do u go about flushing a dwc setup? do u have a bucket with ph adjusted water and pull your plants up in the netted pot and dunk the roots in the bucket to was the nute build up off of them or do u not need to flush in a dwc setup...just a bit curiouse about it .. peace out

hey guys ive done a few days research into having 2 lights in the one space and now that the funds are in im looking at adding an extra 4oowatt hps to my all ready 400watt dual spectrom lamp powered grow cub..my cub as decent venterlation thanks to fans as well as a/c..now from what i understand the plants need co2 to process light there for i added a co2 machine consisting of water sugar and yeast in 3x2 ltr bottles in hope that wen i add this extra light it wont be a waste of time and money my grow cub fits 3 pots snug with ballest and co2 bottles..so i read its worth it but reeally...is it?

My first home grow seems to be going well. Thanks to good seeds and fish emulsion BUT.. The cupboard it's in is only 440cm X 400 and I am worried that the inner shoots are being dwarfed by the large ones ( see attached) I really can't just get another area except out doors and am worried. I have trimmed and closely looked at the plant and even think that it's female (fingers crossed, little hairs forming so far no "balls" ) Should I take drastic pruning measures or some how hide out doors ? On the other hand I might be just panicking it is now 70cm high in just 6 weeks and I have only just started giving it 12 hours on and 12 hours off, with large amounts of potash to ass…

Whats the best way to hook up computer fans in a PC grow case? 2. I'm considering an LST grow considering the lack of space I have to work with at the moment, is there anywhere in Sydney that sells LST shelves i could fit in a PC box? Cheers.
