hey guys and girls im nealy 2 weeks into 12/12 this Saturday and was wondering if anyone else here has pulled a heap of leaf of there plant to let more light to the bud sites. I should of done in while there where in veg but didn't just wondering if it would affect the plants in any way like stalling flowering ect thanks

Ill use this thread later to get links which Ill be adding when I find them. I will make a computer-controlled growroom sometime so need rare components like sensors and controllers. Ive forgotten what I know about micro-electronics but its pretty easy once you get the hang of it. If you need information about how to build a environmental control unit then you might find information via http://www.beyondlogic.org/ and http://www.google.com for now. Hi everyone, Reading up on some general EC levels for hydroponic nutrient mixing and can't seem to find an answer to my question. I was thinking of this situation; - Grower wants to reach an EC level of around 1.8mS during bloom on a run to waste system. - Grower follows the labelled instructions on bloom nutrient + additives (ie. 4ml per 1 litre) and fills up the reservoir tank, EC reading is well below desired level. Question is; Is it ok to continue adding nutrients above the recommendations until you reach that EC level. Obviously stirring and re-checking along the way? Thanks again guys! JA

Hey Guys So this is my first grow EVER. its amazing to watch it grow. So I germinated seeds using paper towel method and planted them. Having a debate over soil grown pot vs hydro. Which medium produces the best quality cannabis? I'm only new to soil blends, and I am still experimenting, but prefer it over hydro, as opposed to the sister in law, who thinks hydro is more potent. So, organic vs hydro? Understood, there are a lot of factors to consider, but from your own personal experience, which would you consider to bring out a strains full potential?

When seeds first pop, up to about 3-4 weeks old, can i give them 24hrs of light. I'm using fluro's. I've read alot about during veg growth 18-6 & flowering 12-12. But never read anything about the first 4 weeks. Any info would be gratefully welcomed

Hi all, I have always wondered about this and thought well why not ask the the group! When filling a barrell / nutrient mix, reaching your desired EC then go to regulate your ph using a 'PH Down' Hydrochloric Acid. Once the ph is set the number will slowly continually rise over time and you can go back and regulate again. My question is; why does it take considerably less PH Down to bring the numbers down again that second time round? ie. It may of take 5 mls to bring the initial reading down .5 but the second time you might only need say 1ml. Anyone thought this? I couldn't find any light reading on this. Cheers!

Ok I am sure this Q has been asked before just can find it here. Why grow auto seeds over normal. I was look at a few on bonza, and there have a few auto seeds that get 1.1 m tall, and give you 400 g/2m. That sounds not to bad. I was under the impression that you crack seed. Place in medium, sprouts, gos to head right away. 8 weeks later you pull your girls out. Done start again. Am I wrong in thinking this. Now they got seeds that are a meter tall

Hi all, I have recently moved back home with my parents after living independently for 6 years. They know I use cannabis, and they accept (or at least they say they do) that I use it for medical reasons. But that's not really the issue. I am quite new to growing my own medicine as I have only had one small outdoor crop before and a series of failures with indoor grows. I currently have two very healthy looking females in the vegetative phase and they are ready to be put under 12/12 lighting. Hey guys, I'm currently growing in a 1.5x1.5x2m grow tent with really good ventilation and running a 400w hps with cooltube. The problem is my humidity is up at 70-80% does anyone know how I can lower this to a point where I won't get bud rot or mould. ps my night time humidity is like 90% and my day time temp is about 25deg. If the cops roll through my house and find my 2 plants, is it guaranteed that it will get back to the real estate/landlord if im renting my property? I am taking all the proper precautions in setting up my room like carbon air filter and insulation and what not but my girlfriend who I live with is freaking out about getting booted out. On the off chance I do get busted do you think if she says she didnt know she will get the boot too or just me? Its gonna be padlocked away with only my key getting in.
