Hi all!! I got a nice little plant from a mate who grows hydro. He gave me one that was cloning under a light 24hrs a day. I took it and planted it outside in a nice sunny spot on Fathers Day and it's budding like crazy!! It's only about a foot and half tall. I tied it down and it's got nice stems growing up from about 10 different points so I'd like to keep growing it if I can til next Mothers Day. Once it's flowered, will it revert back to just growing again? I'm guessing I confused it by taking it from constant light to day/night. I'm pretty sure it's an indica if that helps. All advice is gratefully accepted. Cheers!!

Hey guys, this is my second outdoor growing season in soil so far yet, im from down in victoria so it is still pretty cool at the moment but warming up slowly. i have 8 seedlings going at the moment, some skunks and other strains given to me for mine, but i have 4 of this new strain i have never tried growing before, and one of the seedlings has only been sprouted for a day or two and is showing signs of a dark purple sort of colour on the first set of leaves, does anybody know why this could be ?

Hi all Have been away from growing and weed in general for a few years now but decided to plant a couple this year just for the hell of it. I decided to grow outdoors this time and choose Frisian Dew from Dutch Passion. Has anyone on here grown this strain or have any advice on it? If not I will write a blog. So far the plants are around 20 cm tall and have been in the pots for 7 weeks however 1 is starting to head they are both in the same area so does anyone know why this might be happening? Cheers

Hi guys im pretty sold on those adjustawings. Old school. They have been around for ages. The massive avenger 1000w series looks fantastic. Im thinking of putting one in a 2.0x2.0m tent. with some AC in there for the cooling. They have a HUGE light spread. Best I've ever seen. Cannot get that out of a cooltube or aircooled hood. Opionions guys? On the website of adjustawing reflectors. One of the guys had a carbon scrubber, the adjustawing with 1000w. MASSIVE light spread. I'd love to give one a go in a tent. My tents located in a garage with cold concrete floors aswell. So temps are not an issue!. And there is not a real need to lower it real close to the plants. T…

I want to disinfect my grow tent from any pet hair/disease as I have not used it in awhile and my cats have seemed to get in there. Could I just use any household disinfecting spray to clean the walls while no plants are in there?

Im going with a solistek ballast aswell What kind of good reliable hoods that are worth the coin in australia? Im thinking aircooled. Ive seen the OG hood but I dont think it will fill a 5x5. Maybe I should do a massive chinamens hat and have the fans just blowing on it? ideas guys? I dont know. The best suggestion for a 5x5 tent. I heard this a good size for a 1000w.. Im probly just going to scrog two plants in this size tent. Hand fed. in coco / perlite. Hoping for 2lb yi…

Has anyone tried grafting cannabis? For a graft to be successful, the graft (scion) has to be grafted to a rootstock of a species within the same family. A quick look on Wikipedia tells me there are about 170 species in the Cannabaceae family. Some of them, like cannabis and hops, are annuals. But some, like Celtis, are perennials. Now my thinking is that if you grafted to a perennial rootstock, then maybe the scion would also become a perennial? Anyone know for sure? If that was the case, that would be pretty sweet, a perennial cannabis plant.

So, I'm sure most of us have had this discussion in some shape or form with someone at some point... But I just want to come back, and revisit the topic. The last one was made in 2009, and didn't yield many valuable opinions (no pun intended) . Moreover, Canna have change their formula since. http://www.canna.com.au/cannaboost So ever since I started growing in 2007, I have used CannaBoost, I have always used Canna a&b, veg and flower, plus their additives. Its hard for me to make a fair assessment, having always used CannaBoost, however despite this, I have always had good yields, quality heads and tasty buds. Before we write this product off, I just want to…

Just a minor query about aeroponics. Curious if anybody has had any luck cultivating cannabis (or any other plant) aeroponically. I'm sure cannabis would love an intensely oxygenated nutrient rich medium. Any suggestions relating to simple techs on getting the job done i'd appreciate it a LOT. I know sfa about aeroponics. Noob tecz would be sufficient. I was given some super skunk seeds from a mate and would like to try something unique, not related to soilless mediums like coco/perlite. INPUT PEOPLES!? thanks. peace.

A friend of a friend took this video of his plants and asked me to post it up for him. Is this what I think it is? How will it go in far south east Queensland.

So, With things in full bloom, and the growth significant, things are starting to slow down as week 3 begins (height growth per day) and buds are starting to develop. Despite this, we still have two inevitable factors. a/ the plants will still grow another few inches at least over the next couple weeks. b/ the lights can only go so high. Most common technique is bending and training them down. This is very effective and I use this technique through most of my grow. But you can also 'fold' your plant stems over. This can put a bit more stress on your plants, and certainly do not recommend it if your plants are struggling. However, if your plants are doing well…
