SO i have some seeds i got off a mate. They were grown in my area outdoors and do very well (i seen). I live in Australia, victoria. They are a hybrid of some kind. I have them going now only just started in the green house. My question if i grew them in green house instead of outdoors like they were, and bred them for seeds, would these seeds be more suited to grow in the greenhouse when i planted them the next year? Or does it take a lot more generations than that? Would it weaken the genetic ability to grow outdoors?? Thanks

Hey stoners, I'm nearing the end of my grow, but I have a couple of questions/problems. The first being that my colas don't look all that nice/tight, instead of nugs they are sort of spindly, with what I can only describe as little fingers protruding out. The smaller lower buds look nice though. The second is, even with stringing up the top colas, one has folded over, the branch hasn't snapped, just folded and I can't get the right angle to string it back upright. Would this be a problem to leave it this way? Just one more thing, one of the main colas, about 50% has turned yellowish and I can see what I would say looks a little bit like a spider web in the top of it? …

G'day guys Long time between posts but I've finally decided to get back into growing, have just sprouted 10 seeds and I'm planning to veg them under a 250 MH for a month before sticking them outside. Last time I grew I used canna nutes for vegging and I remember the directions for concentrations on the bottle actually caused nute burn to my babies. I had to reduce it quite a bit before they started to grow properly.....long story short I can't remember for the life of me what concentration I used that was effective. Can anybody help me with this?....I plan to veg these plants in coco

So i live in Australia so it was literally our first day of summer yesterday. I have some sativa in the ground started early going great. At the current rate they are likely to be over 7 foot by the end of season. BUT i also have some hybrid seedling in. (which i have grown before which was good) They are about 2 or so weeks old and are about an inch high. The longest day of the year is in about 3 weeks. What is likely to happen with these guys? What size will they likely get to? How long does it normally take for a plant to react to the shorting light hours when planted this late? i read somewhere that planting late can be better because you can have smaller plants but p…

My local shop sells this, was wondering if anybody has used it with good results? My local told me use it in flower week 5/6. http://rocknutrients.com/RockNutrientsImages/RockResinatorHeavyYieldsVertical.jpg I grow in coco and use canna products so i use all the usual canna nutes and also monsta bud as a supplement. Would it be worthwhile picking up a bottle and added to the nute schedule or will it be too much? He told me it just stimulates resin production. Bob

I have had a couple of successful grows, for the last 2 months I have been trying to get seeds going, I am going to run out of seeds soon because out of 3 lots I have tried to get going I haven't ended u getting any to bloody grow. Maybe the seeds are old but they are all I have, and now am down to the last few. I've tried soaking them sitting them on a damp make up pad in dark and heat, planting the buggers, I just can't get the bloody things to grow, any ideas for the last few I can't afford to stuff these ones up. Help

Hi everyone. I have a problem with heat in my indoor grow, and I'd really appreciate the input of the experienced indoor growers on this site. I have a wardrobe. I'm trying to grow two or three small plants (personal use only). They're at the seedling stage now. Anyway, these are the relevant facts as far as I can tell: The wardrobe is roughly 45cm deep, 80cm wide, and 120cm high. I have the plants on a shelf, so if necessary I can remove it and extend the height of the wardrobe to 150cm, but it's currently at 120cm. I have a 250w ballast and two globes: one is HPS and the other MH. Both seem to work in the same ballast (I think it's an HPS ballast and the MH globe i…

Hi all I am not new to growing, however the need has arisen for me to get some medicinal plants growing fast. I have ordered some seeds with high CBD and low THC which I expect to arrive in a couple of weeks. I would like to explore all of my options as far as growing them as organically as possible, but I am willing to compromise on some things to reduce problems (such as pest problems, soil problems- bacteria etc) Are there organic nutrients available in a Part A Part B or complete nutrient? Similar to regular nutrients? I have read a few things on the net where people are adding this, adding that, and it all sounds complicated. I have read alot about worm castings.…

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and my first post here. I recently moved from Sydney to Canberra and I've been struggling with a shortage of weed. I don't have the balls to just go around asking people for Marijuana, and i've even made the occassional trip up to Sydney to meet old mates to get some but it's so much effort. Since taking up smoking it's really helped with my depression. I'm interested in growing my own marijuana for a hobbie and mainly for self benefit so I don't run out. I've found some seedbanks and picked out a few strains. What i'd like to know is is it easy to be caught for purchasing seeds online? Having such extreme winters and summers here i hop…

Hey guys Just wondering if I could get some thoughts. I just recently have been smoking some really mouthwatering outdoor from a good friend of mine. Im loving this bud soooo much right now. More a Sativa type high which is my fave. He prefers outdoor organic style growing where as I have only really got into the indoor at the moment. After buying a couple oz's at mates rates I know have a nice collection of some really well formed, pretty seeds as well as some he gave me of the same strain. I have popped 3 seeds and have some strong looking seedlings working on their 3rd nodes now just chilling in my veg box. My biggest question is should I continue these babies ind…

Hi Can anyone pinpoint what the problem is here? The new leaves are curling up and the colour is pale. It is a pinapple chunk, in canna coco with a little perlite. Feeding weak nutrients at 5.8-9 ph. The tip of one of the 1st sets of leaves is brown, which looks a bit like nute burn, but I would expect the colour to have got better before any burning happened - its been a light green pretty much from the start. I have been thinking it may have been heat so ive lowered the rack a little. There is a power plant next to it in the same mix getting the same nutes which isn't showing any ill effects. P Chunk Power Plant Power Plant seems to be showing a …

hi I went to the hydro shop the other day I went there I bought some benefical bacteria. while I was there I asked if they sold water chillers for my nute tank and he asked who said I needed one I told him I want to grow in hydroton / clay balls over summer and would like to keep my tank at at constant 22 as I have been running my water at that temp for the last 6 years now. then he said that they don't sell them and only sell water heaters and started to tell me its fine for the roots to get up to 28 d at that point I made my purchase and got out because I thought he was talking shit. so what do you guys think is he talking crap?

hey just wondering if anyone has had problems with the tap water mine is 0.8 ec and after a few days with a air stone it drop and flashes between 0.6 ec to 0.8 ec is this very high ? can it cause me dramas? I say this because iv been using ro water in hydroton / clay balls for the last few years and when I went back to cooc at the start of the year clones in small pot they where lush green feed with ro water. then I move house and think I may as well use tap water since I have a friend that grows in the same suburb with no dramas so I went back to tap water and as some know iv had so much dramas it not funny. anyway just wondering if this hard tap water could be my prob…
