General Cultivation Q&A

Hi, New to the forum and never grown anything. From what I've read, a DWC system is probably the best way to start. I would prefer to grow in some cupboard space, and was only wanting to grow two plants in the long run but perhaps only begin with one. $14.95 for a 90L brick: -No added fert (preferable here) -Has not been pre-buffed (so you may want to buff it with cal / mg or something, though probably unnecessary if you are using a complete fertiliser.) -Takes about 15-30 to decompress, fast and easy process of spraying the brick with a hose, letting it soak for 1min and scrapping off an inch at a time, rinse, repeat. -Cheap and takes up much less space. Personally I don't see much point in paying 5x as much for Canna or H&G, that money is way better spent on more lighting or some seeds. This is my first grow and I was wondering if this is ok for the plant in the early stages, the seeds popped and I have been putting it outside in direct sunlight during the day and bringing it in about 3 or 4 ish in the afternoon and putting it under led grow light for about 12hrs of an evening the plant is looking healthy and seems to like its outside time, this wouldn't stress the plant would it?

Howdy all, Sorry if this is in the wrong part of the forums I didn't know where else to put it. This is more for the breeders on the site or anyone with good information on breeding. So I just got my next lot of beans and am starting the planning for my next grow and I was wondering if it's possible to hermie an Auto girl into self pollinating for some free fem seeds, or would it be better to use her to pollinate another, un-hermied, girl? I'm also curious what the rate of hermie to female seeds is from pollination of this kind and the best method of doing this is? The beans are Fem Autos Thanks guys

Hey all! Long time lurker, first time poster . So i recently converted an old fridge into a vegging cabinet as i would like to start a perpetual grow. I will post pictures if i get enough interest but i will describe it in text for now. SPECS: Hygrometer 1x 130w cfl (6400k) 2x 48w cfl (5000k) 2x LED 15" side lights 2x pc 150mm fan for exhaust 1x pc fan for active intake 1x small 6" clip on fan Now the temps in the cab when its up and running vary from 27-29 c... I have a clip on fan that i have mounted to the top left hand corner of the cab to circulate air... the problem im having is that when the fan is turned on it seems to increase the temp by about 2-3 degree…
