Medical Cannabis: Police Recommend 3 ounces of "Skunk" per month, per patient 22 May 2008 http://pr.cannazine.co.uk/content/view/300/1/ A row has broken out over in the United States, between the law enforcement community and the medical marijuana community. "No change there then" I hear you shout. But this argument comes from a different angle to that by which the UK government agreed they would unilaterally reclassify cannabis, and in doing so go against the advice of its own advisory board of experts. In Washington State, the issue of how much marijuana a patient needs remains one of the most contentious parts of the law voters passed in 1998, which allows pat…

Reasons to legalise all drugs (not just cannabis) - Top 10 Transform Campaign for effective drug policy 22 May 2008 http://pr.cannazine.co.uk/content/view/299/27/ So where do you stand? Do you believe legalising drugs and letting government sort out the distribution, earning taxes, as it removes drugs from the hands of organised criminals is the way to go? Or do you reside on the other side of the fence, (the side where the grass is ALWAYS bad for you), believing the legalisation of drugs is the slippery road to rack & ruin? The fact is, there are as many experts on each side of the fence so who do we believe? Here's a bunch of reasons which, according to d…

this is a cut n pate i found today MACCLESFIELD police have discovered what is believed to be one of Britain’s largest ever cannabis factories – housing EIGHT THOUSAND plants worth about £½m – in a weaver’s cottage in the town centre. Officers routinely attending a blaze on Saturday lunchtime at the Georgian three-storey rented semi on sleepy Bridge Street – just 400 yards away from Brunswick Street Police Station – were stunned by the enormity of the operation and are still reeling from their find. They were confronted by a triple-tiered indoor drug farm stuffed to the walls and ceilings with cannabis bushes – placed in methodical order from saplings to fully fle…

(Angus Reid Global Monitor) - Adults in Canada believe the consumption of cannabis should be allowed in their country, according to a poll by Angus Reid Strategies. 53 per cent of respondents support the legalization of marijuana. Less than 10 per cent of respondents believe other drugs—such as ecstasy, powder cocaine, heroin, crack cocaine and crystal meth—should be legalized. In July 2002, Canada became the first nation in the world to regulate the consumption of cannabis for medical reasons. In the 2004 federal election, the Marijuana party—which seeks the outright legalization of the substance—received 0.3 per cent of the popular vote. In November 2004, the C…

I'm not sure why, but I was under the impression that the sale of bongs etc. was still legal in most states other than Qld and SA. However, while searching for some legal info for a friend, I stumbled upon this.. NSW DRUG MISUSE AND TRAFFICKING ACT 1985 - SECT 11A I couldn't find any more detail about... ..so I'm assuming all bongs would be regarded as waterpipes.Considering they're on full display in a few shops in Nimbin, I'm assuming the pigs just choose to turn a blind eye ..or have I got the bull by the tit.. again

Author Miranda Devine May 15, 2008 http://www.smh.com.au/news/miranda-devine/...0444525877.html The photograph of Mercedes Corby apparently pulling on a pipe, which was put to her in court and appeared in newspapers all week courtesy of her defamation case against Channel Seven, must delight her sister Schapelle, locked up in a Bali jail until 2024 for cannabis importation. Mercedes said she had only been "posing" in the picture and had not smoked marijuana since she was "young and silly" in her teens. But the image can't help Schapelle's pleas of innocence in Indonesia, where anti-drugs campaigners picketed her trial to demand the death penalty. Diverting though …

Booze crusade ignores bigger evil=CANNABIS * WTF * Miranda Devine <--- hahaha devine? she is not March 13, 2008 It's a bit rich for a man who got famously stonkered at a lap-dancing club in New York five years ago to be lecturing the rest of us on binge drinking. The Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd, said he was so drunk during a visit to Scores club with the New York Post's editor, Col Allan, that he couldn't remember a thing that happened. And yet now he has identified the "epidemic" of teenage binge-drinking as Australia's No.1 scourge, so important he must allocate a staggering $53 million to combat it, despite the fact he doesn't really know if it is a problem.…

Greetings, Stoners! The rich narrative of the Australian cannabis community, with OZ Stoners standing tall at its helm, is a blend of trials, tribulations, heartening comebacks, and the unwavering dedication of its members. Let’s delve deep into this riveting tale.
Geocities: The Digital Genesis
In the bustling digital streets of the late '90s, Yahoo Geocities stood out as a haven for burgeoning online communities. It was here, amidst this digital renaissance, that OZ Stoners planted its foundational roots. This marked the dawn of a space that would go on to become synonymous with Australian cannabis culture.
Navigating the Digital Tempests
On its journey, OZ Stoners faced formidable challenges. Between Yahoo's unpredictability and the unexpected anti-cannabis stance of titans like Meta, steering the ship required a blend of adaptability, tenacity, and foresight.
A Hiatus and the Phoenix's Ascent
Come 2022, OZ Stoners entered a period of unplanned dormancy, lasting a challenging 12 months. But, reminiscent of the legendary phoenix, this hiatus was transformed into an opportunity for rebirth. The platform underwent comprehensive upgrades, server enhancements, and a revitalising overhaul. As it emerged, it did so with a phoenix-like rise, soaring higher and brighter, dedicated to serving the community with even more zeal and purpose.
Ode to the Trailblazers
The tapestry of OZ Stoners is woven with the dedication and vision of its founding members. Their relentless drive and contributions have been the bedrock of its success. While many of these pioneers continue to shape its direction, we pause to honor those trailblazers we've lost over time. Their indomitable spirit continues to inspire and resonate within the cannabis community. - Memorial Hall
The Lighthouse of Today and Promise of Tomorrow
