If you support keeping drugs illegal

Source: http://www.hoboes.com/FireBlade/Editorials/Legalize/ by Tom++, June 27, 1995 From the Talk.Politics.Drugs Usenet newsgroup You support robberies and assaults on innocent people. The high prices of drugs caused by prohibition force many drug addicts to turn to robbery in order to pay for their drugs. Legalization would drop drug prices. Drug users would no longer need to rob/assault innocent people in order to support their drug habit. This violence against innocent people would end if drugs were legalized. You support clogging our prisons and jails with nonviolent people. Nearly 50% of all people in prison and jail are serving time for nonviolent dru…

It is all Thomas Jefferson's Fault!

I suddenly realised tonight in a smoky haze that Thomas Jefferson is to blame for the whole cannabis Prohibition thing. He was a Cannabis grower and user and the silly bugga sat down and wrote the American Bill of Rights, there by pissing off the bigots and would be tyrants who vowed immediately never to allow this sort of thing to happen again EVER. They then set out to ban the plant they blamed for his "Evil" thoughts of rights for all. How dare he!!

Drug Sniffer Dogs @ Fremantle Train Station!

From the West Australian on Saturday, there was a follow up today but I'll have to type that manually I think as I can't find it on their dumb-ass site. Author: LEE RONDGANGER and RONAN O’CONNELL Date: 11/7/2009 Source: The West Australian Saturday 11th July 2009 Copyright: "West Australian Newspapers Limited 2008" (I think?) This shit makes me mad. They are effectively searching people at random at a train station without consent or reasonable cause. And all that effort for a few "hits" by the dogs, and then subsequent searches which showed nothing. DAMN YOU STUPID ASS LIBERAL/NATIONAL GOVERNMENT! *pant, pant*

California screaming: can stoners save the Golden State? 14/07/2009 4:46:00 PM, Stuart Fagg Next By Stuart Fagg, ninemsn The Republic of California is known for many things: Hollywood, beautiful people, violent street gangs and the Governator. It also has the eighth biggest economy in the world. With a gross domestic product of $1.8 trillion, it's bigger than the Australian, Norwegian and Saudi Arabian economies combined. That's pretty big. And now, it's broke. Earlier this month, the Golden State's budget crisis took a spectacular turn. California began this financial year with a US$26 billion hole in the books and has so little cash it's been forced to issue I…

AM: 7TH LIONEL MURPHY MEMORIAL LECTURE by Professor Paul Wilson
This is a PDF and simply will not play nice and allow cut and paste. However this is perhaps one of the best documents from anyone in a long time and this was 1993. We really could use a lot of what he says in this for our own fight against the governments.

http://img33.imageshack.us/img33/8973/kalpennl.jpg Kal Penn gets political This is one of the celebs I contacted requesting help for cannabis legalisation over here in Australia. Can't blame him for going into US politics instead though. Sorry I haven't been back in awhile. I live a long way from civilisation and rarely visit towns nowadays. I haven't forgotten about trying to create a grassroots movement for queensland. I've just been doing what I do best and buying up high traffic domain names. Just thought I'd ask if you wanted any free advertising. I have a funny feeling that I might be just about to make a headline or two. There is a new ICANN Preside…

When we were charged over 2 years ago, the real estate property manager vindictively put us on the Tenants database as having used the property for criminal purpose. We are now not able to rent another property, because of this issue, we have called the tenants union, fair trade, Minister for Housing, Community Legal, Fitzroy legal centre, The Supreme Court - need to call them back to talk to the registrar. So far we are being duck shoved from one group to another, with absolutely no forward movement. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what now? Does anyone have a house in Melbourne we could rent even for a few months? Guys we really are in serious trouble, …

Geocities: The Digital Genesis
In the bustling digital streets of the late '90s, Yahoo Geocities stood out as a haven for burgeoning online communities. It was here, amidst this digital renaissance, that OZ Stoners planted its foundational roots. This marked the dawn of a space that would go on to become synonymous with Australian cannabis culture.
Navigating the Digital Tempests
On its journey, OZ Stoners faced formidable challenges. Between Yahoo's unpredictability and the unexpected anti-cannabis stance of titans like Meta, steering the ship required a blend of adaptability, tenacity, and foresight.
A Hiatus and the Phoenix's Ascent
Come 2022, OZ Stoners entered a period of unplanned dormancy, lasting a challenging 12 months. But, reminiscent of the legendary phoenix, this hiatus was transformed into an opportunity for rebirth. The platform underwent comprehensive upgrades, server enhancements, and a revitalising overhaul. As it emerged, it did so with a phoenix-like rise, soaring higher and brighter, dedicated to serving the community with even more zeal and purpose.
Ode to the Trailblazers
The tapestry of OZ Stoners is woven with the dedication and vision of its founding members. Their relentless drive and contributions have been the bedrock of its success. While many of these pioneers continue to shape its direction, we pause to honor those trailblazers we've lost over time. Their indomitable spirit continues to inspire and resonate within the cannabis community. - Memorial Hall
