OldManDallas Posted March 24, 2020 Report Share Posted March 24, 2020 So we have closed up shop to all camper's and cabins, still have the bistro running for takeaway but no one is allowed to eat in Still have 3 locals working for us maintaining the lawns, and general maintenance of the park. OldManDallas Posted March 24, 2020 Report Share Posted March 24, 2020 Its a small town here with a lot of elderly legends that need some help so I have organized 20 of these care package's to give to them as sadly they don't have many or any family members to fall back on. Its not much but its better then nothing. Fantastic to see.Its a shame you dont have perminant resident's in the park to help keep the money comming in.Maybe with people not being able to cross borders and NZ most not being able to get newstart you might be allowed to open due to special circumstances. States are looking for places now to put people who need self isolation but cant stay at home or refuse to isolate voluntarily that way authorities can monitor 1 area.With you being in the country, having existing facilities available the health department would certainly consider it.You would even be able to employ more locals to help provide meals and clean.
